I am not even close to being caught up with Critical Role, but I just have to say that I refuse to believe Taliesin Jaffe (I’m not even going to try to spell that name right) is a real tangible being. I think if I saw him just going about his life I would immediately write it off as a hallucination. That isn’t at all an insult, I just can’t comprehend this man doing anything other than d&d and possibly spending his days being an omniscient being.

I am so sad that Molly didn’t live to see the pirate arc.
Molly would have loved being a pirate, however temporary.
The aesthetic! The drama! He’s already got an amazing coat and swords!
He would have been really helpful in the bs department

All the others: Why yes, my cat is quite the thoroughbred, brought from exotic far-off places and named wonderful names-
Travis: Yeah this is Achoo and I found him in the gutter out front, dunno what breed he is but he’s got some wicked sharp claws on him

Run a Call of Cthulhu session where the investigators stumble upon a small, isolated town with unusual customs and disarmingly friendly people. It’s actually a perfectly innocent and harmless place, but see how long it takes the players to believe that.
