On my way to Berlin again. Today was very stressful at work. The world biggest wave gothic festival starts and the city is packed. I was at the front desk of our hotel and oh gosh did they overun me. Lol. i have to travel directly to Berlin bc I will have to do the breakfast in another hotel. My shift starts at 6 am so there’s a short night ahead of me. i’m gonna stay there until thursday next week. Hopefully i will find some time to post something.
So, as I promised I’m back on my lowcarb train again. This is protein bread with only 11g carbs per 100grams. Very tasteful. I took some cheese, sausages and veggies with me bc I don’t know if I will find time to buy something in Berlin Hopefully I will stay strong and don’t fall back to my bad May-Habits (as I call them).

Proof that I’m still alive and still working out.
The last few weeks have been stressfull and full of work. I barely found time to check tumblr let alone post something. This also had an effect on my motivation. My eating habits haven’t been healthy all the time. I had a lot of load days with sweets and bread. Lowcarb lifestyle...yeah. LOL.
Anyways, I told myself to take it slow until june and then get back on track 100%.

Just to let you know: I did not give up this blog. I just don't have time to post anything. Work has been stressful...in a positive sense. I'm travelling a lot atm (currently on my way to Berlin again). So. I PROMISE there will be a post on Sunday. I promise. Hope you guys are doing great!

Some of my dishes from the last few weeks. Including my prepared meals for the hiking trip last weekend.
I barely have time to cook anymore. That’s why I’m either earting simple salads or at the cafeteria at my college. Or I’m lucky and my boyfriend is cooking. t’s hard to eat healthy and regulary at the moment. Not included in the pictures above are sevral cakes, pies, cookies, icecreams and so on I had over the last 2 weeks. I fell of the wagon several times, mostly bc I was tired or mentally stressed over my new job.
I’m trying to bring order in my life again. It feels like everything is a massive challenge to me right now. So...I’m not at the top of my game. :/
Hope to be back at my old good feeling self in a few days. Give me time (and more coffee!)

Hiking Trip Update
My brother and I left on Friday afternoon to the Saxon Switzerland, a very nice hiking region only two hours away from our city. We had planned to go hiking in june but my new job wouldn’t let me so we decided spontaneously to go from may 5th to 7th. I had only arrived from berlin the evening before so there wasn’t much time to plan any special tour or how much I was supposed to bring with me. I only knew that we would have to hike on sunday with our baggage so it had to be light and small. And I made it. My backpack was even lighter that the one my brother brought with him. Lol. I had prepared veggies, meatballs and grilled chikcen for us. Way too much btw, but better too much than too few.
First tour on saturday was over 20km long. Since the weather was very foggy in the morning we decided to go the other way aroung and climb to the summit in the afternoon. It definitely was the right decision bc most people were already on their way down when we arrived and we had the summit for us alone. Going through a foggy wood on the other hand was frightening and thrilling. LOL.
The second tour was much shorter with only 13km but since we had all our baggage with us and still were exhausted from the day before it was much more tiring. We went to the Bastei (go check it out) and took the ferry to the train from there on. We arrived back home late sunday, tired, exhausted and hungry. And I had such a strong carb and sugar craving that I thought I would go crazy. I blame it on the cake I had on the Bastei and on my exhaustion. So I bought cake, and sweets and muesli and had a good carb binge once I arived home. It felt good and I was totally ok with it.
Resumé: Very nice hiking trip, perfect weather, good and healthy meals during the trip, carb binge and the end. Perfect weekend!

Job Udate
It’s  been almost 2 weeks since I started my new job. I’m still trying to get used to my new working schedule. I’m working at the front desk and in the office, on different times during the day and it’s almost impossible to plan ahead (workouts and meals). My collegues are fantastic and even though it’s a LOT of new informations and a LOT new passwords I’m enjoying my new tasks. It’s a challenge and as a very competitive person I love challenges.
I spent the first week in Berlin with very long days. I was so exhausted in the evening that I couldn’t even call my boyfriend to say good night. My new boss invited my to an italian restaurant the second day and god it was sooo good. Minestrone as first course, then a salad with grilled chicken and mushrooms as main course. I was determined to stay lowcarb (ok, I had potatos in the Minestrone but pff!) but then the cook brought strawberry-semifreddo and who was I to say no to this? To be honest I cheated a lot during the  last two weeks but this is another story.
So, work is going just fine even though it changed my diurnal rhythm completely. :)

However, since I have more than a week to write about (plus an exciting hiking trip) I decided to divide the original BIG post in some smaller ones, like workout updates, eating habits update, hiking trip updates, new job updates and so on.
I miss being active on tumblr but I’m barely at home let alone on my computer atm due to college and work.
I hope anyone is doing great!? How are you doing guys? Is everything alright?

After 3 days in Berlin and 3 days of hiking I'm back home. Feels great! My last few days were phenomenal. Pictures, updates and so on tomorrow afternoon. I'm too tired and exhausted to write anything :D

Day 31 + 28 + 31 + 30 + 3 of Change
Uhrg, what a first day that was. I was DEAD yesterday after my shift ended. Mentally and physically.
I got up at 5am (horrible, i knooooow) and had to leave the house at 6:30am to get my bus in the city center. I still had time to eat breakfast before I left. Curd cheese, yoghurt, berries and nuts. My bus left on time but came right into the rush hour in my hometown AND in Berlin, which is why we arrived almost 40 min later. My shift began at 11am and I had to get a taxi to be on time. This stressed the hell out of me, bc I hate to be late and I originally wanted to relax a little bit before i start work.
Anyways, as I had imagined I had no time to eat anything during work, that means until 9pm, and I was right. I managed to snack an egg and some veggies before i started but that was by no means enough. I didn’t feel any hunger to my surprise during the day, most probably bc I was still nervous and excited but I was ready to kill anyone for an apple or berries. Lol.
I’m working for a hotel now and I will be responsible for every communication (extern and intern) but since I have no experience in this field I’m starting at the front desk so I will get to know every process from arrival, to check in etc etc. That means standing the whole day, which I am not at all used to. My back is killing me.
BUT, I’m sleeping at the hotel and I have a room with a small kitchen AND a bathtub, wohoo! Of course I took a bath! (We only have a shower in our appartement.)
My friend (she’s my boss now) and I enjoyed some wine after work, plus the rest of the veggies and the last boiled egg. I slept like a baby. Today started with a 15min yoga flexibilty workout and a short trp to the grocery shop nearby to get bell pepper, cucumbers, curd and coffee. I was allowed to have breakfast in the hotel. Oh, and I found pecan nuts! Yay!
So, sorry this post is so long. I hope everyone has a wonderful week. It’s 10am here now. My shift starts in one hour and i still need to get my make up done.

Day 31 + 28 + 31 + 30 + 1 of Change
Yesterday was a good day. The weather was beautiful and I managed to balance between being lazy and kinda productive. I started the day with a 1,5h workout in the gym (some cardio and weightlifting) right after breakfast. My boyfriend wa sstill asleep so I enjoyed my breakfast in silence. I tried the nitro whey protein shake after my workout with banana flavour when I came home (plus coffee again) and it reminded me sooo much of this special banana milk we had in school. Lol. Tasted a little bit chemical and I won’t buy that flavour again, but it was totally ok.
Lunch was zoodles with mixed veggies and chicken. After a small nap I decided to go outside to enjoy the warm and sunny weather. Took a small walk to a nearby it-place (it was really crowded) and soon these two fellas joined me and actually fell asleep like 3 feet away from me. I felt so special and took care that noone came near them so they can sleep in peace :D
Btw, it’s impossible for me to make a normal portion of salad. This bowl is normally meant for 2 to 3 people but I ate it alone. Looked fanstastic and tasted fantastic so who cares? Beneath the veggies and eggs was lamb’s lettuce, my favorite salad.
Today is all about preparing my trip to berlin tomorrow. I’m so nervous. I don’t know if I will be able to post anything so...well, we’ll see. I will have to leave the house at 6:30am and then work in Berlin will start at 11am til 8pm. Long day ahead. Wish me luck!

Went to the gym this morning and now I'm going outside bc the weather is beautiful and sunny. I already got sunscreen on my face (important bc I do get suburbs quite easily). Just waiting for the coffee to get ready and then I'm off.
Your self care Sunday sounds great! I treat my hair with coconut oil two times a week. Works wonders! :)

clean bathroom
meal prep
do some deep stretching whilst doing some good ol’ aromatherapy

Day 3 + 28 + 31 + 30 of Change
Well, what a great workshop that was yesterday! Imagine, this is the first course during my studies, which is actually practice-oriented! Wohoo! The workshop started at 9am and ended at 5pm, very long but we had enough breaks. We were on the 5th floor and instead of using the elevator I took the stairs every time. So, this was kinda my workout yesterday lol. I had prepared lunch Two boiled eggs, sausages and lots of veggies. Nuts as snacks in the afternoon. I really enjoyed my hot chocolate when I was at home and didn’t manage to do much after it. I originally wanted to do my laundry but I guess I will have to do that today.
Dinner: Mixed veggies with chicken, cream cheese on top, curd with cinnamon as a dessert. And some sparkling wine, bc why not!
Two days till my new job will start. I’m so nervours! Not only bc of the job but also bc I don’t know if and when I will have the opportunity to eat something. I get irritated when I’m hungry. I’m so scared I will kill someone bc of it. LOL. Just kidding. I won’t kill anyone...i think.
