Hiii, this is a cosplay blog for my Ultrakill cosplay which I started making in October. I'll post updates on the costume progress here 💥🔫🩸💀

V1 is nearly finished - adding wings at a later date! I've also made a low effort cosplay of Mirage, so I'll post photos and videos of both :D

Thank you soooo much! This is amazingly helpful, armour is so difficult to make as a beginner. I love your V2 cosplay too, using magnets for the eye expressions is such a great idea.

When you're making an over ambitious cosplay, it's easy to get demotivated when you hit a problem. I've been super stuck with the shoulder and thigh parts of this costume for a while. YouTube tutorials save meeeee!

I'm focusing on the forearms, legs and feet - before I get frustrated and make a permanent mistake lol. I've got just over a month to complete this so the con crunch panic is already setting in 💥

I'm not dead, I've just been doing A LOT of painting

The details and edges are really defined and V1 looks like it's built out of something other than foam.

I've not painted metal texture before so I improvised a bit. The dark blue was dry brushed and blended with watered down paint.

After being really stuck on how to make the shoulders, I decided to just wing it and this was the result:

I didn't plan to start making another prop so soon but the update influenced me. It's a bit smaller than I expected but it glows so that's a plus

I made some progress over the weekend. The back and chestplate are attached and I tidied up the paint a bit. Most of the back piece is hollow so it's super light to wear.
