Something Bad || Max || Open Starter
The 18 year old touched down                 on the roof of what ever building                 was closest to her. She was in                 the city, for a change. She’d needed                 a bit of space from the flock — they                 had all been seriously getting on her                 nerves lately. Being the mother hen really                 started wearing on you after a bit.                 Sure, they’d had mom, but that hadn’t quite                 worked out the way Max had planned it.                 Past that, Jeb was the only thing they’d ever                 really had that was even close to a parental                 figure who, as it turns out, happened to                 be her father as well?
Stop thinking about it, Max. Just fly.
She sighed, thrusting her wings out                 again, prepared to take flight. It was a                 crisp, clear night. She wasn’t quite sure                 where they were, but she had a roundabout                 idea. She was in a large city. The last she’d                 known, they were flying over Europe. She                 sat down on the roof, choosing to, instead,                 rest her wings for a bit. It was a nice night,                 and she seemed to be undetected as of yet.
