One of my favorite pieces of art in the set has a Demon crushing a glimmer.
I like the symbolism of the dreams and hopes being captured by a demon.
I find all the new glimmer cards in duskmourn super interesting! I'm sure someone asked this before but what got the team inspired to make these special "spirit animals" floating around a haunted house dimension?
They felt we needed some hope in the house of horror, just so every image wasn't so intense.

I like them a lot and find the designs are very interesting, although the references were sometimes a little odd.
I'm surprised we got 2 Annabelle cards, for example.
I really dislike toys as a big theme in Duskmourn. I think it's like the candy monsters in Eldraine, where I get you need one or two cards to hit a reference, but it doesn't feel like it's coherent with the worldbuilding to be such a large presence
Candy monsters were pretty popular in Wilds of Eldraine. I suspect Toys will be popular in Duskmourn. Let's see what you Question Marks think.

I love it but I don't think it needed an "in-universe" explanation with the Razorkin and all that.
Speaking personally, I really dislike cards that are meta-references to media like Unwanted Remake and The Meathook Massacre II. Most of the set is references to the contents of horror movies, but those two are references to the medium of film itself, which seems categorically different to me. (An older card that struck a wrong note for me in a similar way was +2 Mace. That’s a reference to D&D the game, but no character in-universe goes around talking about their +2 Mace. It’s an abstraction for the purposes of gameplay, which seems out of place to directly reference in a set that otherwise took the D&D setting seriously.)
Let's take the temperature of the Question Marks.

I bought a Brawl deck that had a not saying something like "Hey, your copy of Corpse Knight has a misprint and you should change it for this other one we attached".
It was very funny.
How often do mistakes make it to print? Not as in "this card was more powerful than we realized" but "oh darn, this should have been a 2/3 but someone mistyped it to a 3/3 and we never caught it" or "oh darn, we meant to take vigilance off this but someone forgot."
In the history of Magic, I can count it happening on one hand.

The position in this Smash Bros render makes it look like Mythra is doing ✌-sign behind Pyra's head. That rascal.

broke: everyone calls Hawke by surname bc the game can't get people to say your custom name
woke: nobody in Kirkwall knows Hawke's first name

Love the enthusiasm. "We haven't been there yet, but when are we coming back?"
It's probably a bit too early, but with Duskmourn preview season starting, where to you think Bloomburrow lands on the Rabiah scale? I personally loved it.
It's too early, but it's proving to be a pretty popular world.

Yeah you're right. It WOULD be pretty fucked up if you were a swan but you were raised by ducks and you grew up never seeing another swan or even knowing that such a thing as a swan even existed so you just thought you were a duck with something super wrong with it.
