We found out that my dad not only has deviated vertebrae in his neck but he was also diagnosed with multiple sclerosis today.

He has to have surgery in the coming week because it's already gotten very bad.

Hii, i absolutely love your art and your totourials are some of the best ive met. Soo i wanted to ask you if you have any tips for drawing in the arcana charm style (wonderland, spring wedding) if you dont have time then it's completely fine also :) Hope you have a nice day! :D

This will be more tips and observations than tutorial because I haven’t tried this style nearly enough to give proper advice, but here are the things I noticed when trying to draw it.

As a note, though, there are slight differences between the Spring Wedding and Wonderland styles which I’ll try to highlight.

The first, and most distinct, aspect of the style to consider is the lineart. This style’s draw is attention in drawn detail rather than rendering.

The lineart is thin but with varying weight. It gets thinner for fabric details, getting thickers at corners, curves, and around the outline of the character.  A lot of attention is given the hair, flowers, and clothing folds. The lineart is coloured, but unlike the Arcana style, it doesn’t change depending on the base colour.

For the Spring Wedding charms, the outline is an ink blue, while the inner lineart is a mid brown. There’s no shading, instead being flat coloured. Details and patterns on the clothing tends to be painted, rather than lined. Metals, hair, or anything else reflective don’t shine.

In contrast to the character, the back panel has a gradient, getting lighter towards the bottom. It has a single lineart colour, often being a desaturated pink/brown. This also lightens with the gradient. The backdrop consists of flowers and a decorative panel that frames their head.

The poses are simple but elegant sitting poses, as if the character is sitting on a sofa, posing for a portrait.

For the Wonderland charms, the brown lineart is used for most colours, though a blue is used for black/dark blue. Unlike the Spring Wedding charms, the outline is instead black.

The character is framed by or sits on a single, large item and is then surrounded by two smaller items. The poses are fittingly more dynamic than before, but still consist of sitting/lounging poses, though with more interaction with their environments.

One thing I can’t quite figure out is whether the eyes have whites to them. Either way, the significant blush on the face doesn’t extend into them. They’re drawn smaller/more realistically proportioned to the Arcana style. The face is similarly drawn with one lineart colour. The irises are simple blocks of one colour with a small white shine in the corner.

The lips are well defined. The top lip is darker and the lower lip can have a shine to it. The nose is simple, consisting of a thin line for the bridge and a small dot for the nostril.

Proportionally, the characters have similar proportions to the Arcana. They’re slender but otherwise are realistic enough.

I think that’s all the notes I have for now. I hope this can be helpful :D

-he gets very teasing. He likes to see you flustered, so he’s prone to dropping a very bold come-on into an otherwise normal conversation.

-the hug from behind. If you’re doing something like cooking he will come up behind you and wrap his arms around your waist, and whisper in your ear.

-he can be surprisingly shy, but the signals are there. Namely he gets a lot more kissy and huggy. He’ll come across the room just to give you a kiss and hug and then let you go back to what you were doing, complete with a cheeky little wink and perhaps a pat on the butt.

-he’ll tell you he loves you and then five minutes later he tells you again (he probably forgot he had already said it). If that isn’t getting it across, he’ll hit you with some extravagantly cheesy flirting.

-he gets really fidgety. He’s ripped so many labels off bottles because he wants to put his hands all over you but redirects it to destruction instead.

Muriel

-you catch him staring when he thinks you aren’t looking

-his voice becomes softer and deeper. He’ll dip his head down and gently ask if you two could go somewhere to be alone.

-when he holds your hand, he softly strokes the back of it with his thumb.

Nadia

-She will tell you you’ve got an eyelash on your cheek, or an errant hair she needs to fix. She comes in close and makes her adjustment, and then locks eyes with you with that unmistakable look on her face.

-If her voice goes low and smooth as she leans in closer and starts teasing you, it’s over. You’re hers. If she mentions being the Countess while she’s teasing you, it’s REALLY over.

-she will excuse herself during a conversation and come back out wearing lingerie. She will not acknowledge this, and if you try to start something, she will continue to not acknowledge it until she decides it’s time.

Lucio

-he’ll ask you to come sit on his lap. That’s a dead giveaway. He will start rubbing your shoulders, or rest his hand on your thigh and caress it gently, and treat you to one of his most charming smiles.

-he compliments your appearance, telling you how much he loves it when you wear that outfit. He also makes a point of disrobing himself as much as is appropriate for the situation, since no one can resist his sculpted physique.

-he will straight up talk about how horny he is, or otherwise regale you with tales of a sexual nature, such as the way he masturbated to your photo the other day.

The Fandom

I've noticed a lot of hate these days in the fandom and I just don't understand why people feel the need to drag someone for no reason.

I saw someone comment that a creators mc would be better if 'she was white' or they were making very vulgar remarks about the MC's body and just being a dick in general.

This fandom is supposed to bring people together over a shared love for this game, and people are allowed to design their characters however they want.

All MC's are valid and beautiful.

It's great to see MC's with a different skin tone, different body type, different beliefs etc. I think it great because people can get involved with the story and put themselves in it.

The moral of all of this is be kind and be good.
