Diola - ENTRY #6
Our emotions are beyond our control. We feel certain ways at unexpected times, then we tend to react negatively sometimes and that’s completely normal. After all, humans were created to experience happiness, sadness, and pain. It is what makes us human. We aren’t perfect, we are full of flaws and faults. We make mistakes. Despite all of our imperfections, the most important thing is that we accept all of them and we learn from them, it is important for us to work on ourselves as time flies by and as we experience more things.
This lesson focuses on the emotions we experience and how to manage them. This made me reflect on times when I allowed my emotions to control me, and those were not the best days of my life. I recall those days when I was upset and all I could do was cry, these were terrible times, but they were memorable because I felt like I learned a lot from them. I also remember those occasions when I was overjoyed, couldn't stop laughing, and my lips stretched outward on their own.
Because my family doesn't have the kind of relationship where we discuss our sentiments, I tend to keep my lips shut. As a result, I always keep a diary. When I'm frustrated, depressed, or happy, I always write in my diary. I have no idea how many journals I already have, I just keep collecting them.
I’ve recently asked my friends, “What makes you happy?”. Their responses made me appreciate the things around me, and I realized that happiness doesn't have to be based on a significant reason. They responded by claiming that simple pleasures like eating, sleeping, and hanging out with friends are enough to make them happy. I am grateful for their replies, and I was moved by them. It taught me that it's the little things that count. Overall, I feel that we should not fight our emotions, rather, we should learn to manage them so that we can learn to control them and be better versions of ourselves in both good and bad times.

Emotion is something that impacts a lot of decisions made by people, reacting in a bad way because of emotions are normal to people. Ausente - ENTRY #6
Emotions are a part of us, a human being. We people have different kinds of personality which can affect how we express our emotions. The lesson reminded us of how we cope up with our emotions and not forcing people to make adjustments within our emotions. Let our emotions out and not to mock it.
What I learned in this lesson is the differences of our emotions. As someone who is struggling with controlling emotions, this has helped me a lot. Managing our emotions could help us to make our future decisions. Like some others say: “Do not make decisions when you’re happy.”
What I value from this lesson is to understand yourself and others’ perspectives.

Arnado - ENTRY #6
Emotions are part of our everyday lives. Sometimes it can feel like our feelings control how we think and act to the point where we feel like we’re not in control. Experiencing and expressing emotions are integral parts of life. but for many people, emotions remain mysterious, confusing, and difficult to express .Learning ways to express our emotions that are aligned with our cultural values, while still attending to our need and feelings, can be helpful both for ourselves and in our relationship with others.

Caampued - ENTRY #6
I always let my emotions out. When I'm mad, happy, and sad. But I don't know how to control those emotions. I just let it out, which I think is not a good thing to do. If I'm able to control those emotions before letting them out, I should think first so that I won't hurt anybody. And I should let it out in a positive way. I also think that having a positive attitude will help to have a positive emotion.

Faner - ENTRY #6
Emotions are uncontrollable, and we could never force ourselves to feel one way or another. It has an overall impact on us and shapes who we are. Emotions are what distinguishes us from other beings. Anger, happiness, fear, pain, and a variety of other emotions make us human.
I learned about the various types of emotions we have and what they mean in this lesson. It also taught me about emotional intelligence, which is something that we all need. Emotions are uncontrollable, but they can be managed, and having the ability to develop yourself will complete your wholeness as an individual.
Managing our own emotions is a lifelong process that we have to learn. We will not be able to master it in a short period of time. To truly understand what self-management entails, we must go through a variety of experiences. "Emotions are the colors of the soul". It simply implies that we are who we choose to be based on how we choose to feel. Emotions reflect our behaviors, allowing us to be our real selves.

Salitorno - ENTRY #6
Emotions have played a significant influence on human evolution throughout history. Sadness, happiness, surprise, fear, disgust, and anger are the six basic emotions of humans that are born with that we should all be able to recognize.
All these kinds of reactions are natural experiences or responses that our brains process every day.
This last lesson that we've tackled makes me convinced to just let go of all of your emotions because, like what Ma'am said, they are all natural and valid. My weakness is my emotions. I get hurt by small things done by my close people, but little things done by anyone can make me happy easily too because I'm an appreciative person. Every so often, it's hard for me to control all my emotions. But I have learned these days that we can never be strong all the time, and that's alright. We can be emotionally tired because we all have our limits and always remember that our limitations are different, so never compare yourself to anyone.
As I already stated, my vulnerability is that I am an emotional person. But I've learned that if I can acknowledge my emotions and if I can apply to myself how appreciative I am to everyone, then I can also appreciate how strong I am and how strong I can be. In the end, only you know when things feel okay or not okay. What matters is that you learn to master doing what makes you feel good and avoid those that disrupt your peace.
