Opti? That's hard ..., it's a prefix. Originating from Latin or Greek, I suppose the roots could be ops, which means eye and op- meaning "to work, produce in abundance". Hm. I'm not sure how to feel. .. though, 'go by' inclines me to believe you know the origins, and have opted to embrace them.
