Jolanda is SUCH an under utilized character in the SCP sedition tapes and its fandom. Honestly the idea of 049 being a father in some way, no matter who his child is, is ALSO under utilized even though it’s such a popular head canon. I’d love to see more about him as a father, trying to be a good parent whilst also continuing his research. Jolanda is the perfect character to use that for because at the end she’s killed by his obsession with the pestilence, imagine all that angst???

without getting into it too deeply, since the cog liker/toon hater discourse keeps springing up with no end can we at least make an effort to not automatically assume that people who do focus on or prefer cog characters are illiterate and need to be lectured to about the harmful effects of capitalism? it's deeply condescending and pretentious. i'm not saying there aren't people with uninformed or even regressive views that seep into how they analyze their favourite medias, but go to any other fandom and you will find this. there will always be outliers with opinions on the extreme ends of any given topic. seeing those select examples and then deciding that everyone must think this way except you, then putting out a bunch of PSAs abt how every cog fan needs to check themselves, really doesn't do anyone any good.
