For those who haven’t been able to tell, we pretty much deserted Tumblr since the latest purge. If you want to contact us you’ll have more luck on Twitter, which sucks a lot more but has less censorship compared to Tumblr, which isn’t saying a lot.

We’ll come back if shit gets fixed but not holding our breath. We might still use our blogs a bit but… well. We’ll see.

can anyone help us find that one post that’s this big masterlist of words that systems can use in their system name to replace the word “system” like collective, house, group, etc.? /genq we can’t find it anywhere for some reason.

Here’s your daily reminder that being sex repulsed or sex averse has nothing to do with being sex negative.

Sex repulsed/sex averse = “I don’t like sex and am uncomfortable with sex and things related to it. I might not like to think, talk about, or see things related to it, because the idea of it makes me uncomfortable.”

Sex negative = “I negatively judge others for engaging in sex or sexuality while spreading deeply bigoted rhetoric about stripping marginalized people of their sexual autonomy.”

You can be sex averse or sex repulsed and sex positive! Not liking or being comfortable with sex, even being actively repulsed by it, does not mean you are judging other people for their sexuality or trying to strip them of their autonomy. In fact, sex positivity means supporting the autonomy of all people to engage their sexuality in whatever way they please without harming anyone, which includes supporting sex averse and sex repulsed people.

just realized the fact that we are bodily an adult was in our carrd but not in our bio so hopefully that is more clear now. like it says in our carrd, minors are fine to interact and everything still. just wanted to warn those who don’t want to interact with adults or aren’t comfortable with that.

ummmmmmmm uh oh ! oopsie ! ! ! just realized I accidentally based my entire personhood and sense of self on the consumption of media and absent of a constant obsessive fixation on some assortment of fictional things I literally cannot picture myself existing ! ! ! uhhh whoops ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! oops ! !

reminder that harassing and bullying and attacking people online who do genuinely horrible and wrong things isn’t social justice. it isn’t helping anyone but maybe you and whoever else is doing it to feel better temporarily. most of the time it actually reinforces an “us VS them” mentality and discourages the people doing the wrong thing from paying attention to those outside their harmful online circle.

this isn’t to say that the blame for harmful actions is on anyone but the person doing them. just don’t think you’re helping anyone by hurling insults or spamming a tag or whatever else to harm people who themselves have done horrible and harmful things. the best way to stop those things is by creating spaces where they are not tolerated and growing/supporting those spaces, and also spreading education about why that thing is harmful, not by attacking strangers online.

Someone drew their character in a “I’m not a girl but my boyfriend is” t-shirt on Twitter and it made me want to get one that says “I’m not a boy but my girlfriend is” for my girlfriend. She doesn’t like to wear t-shirts, other than to sleep, but I think it would be cute.
