ive been seeing a lot of posts lately with headlines from the New York Post (not to be confused with the New York Times) and I feel like people should be aware its a conservative tabloid and you should like, take it with an extreme grain of salt. it is a bit like the US version of the Daily Mail.

This IS BEYOND unacceptable -FU to Doug Ford and ANY politician/public figure in the Ontario Legislature who agrees with this. A keffiyeh is a traditional scarf worn by many Arab people, and people in West Asian communities. It does represent/symbolize Palestinian resistance and solidarity (among many aspects, of course), but that's not a crime -and trying to censure someone's right to wear traditional garments because you'd rather pander to zionists (as this article notes, many wear religious wear every day in office), is the real issue here -this is discrimination. This is legislated discrimination and is hateful.

…so I tried pairing some house centipedes to observe their mating behavior, and picked a very large old male that must be 6 or 7 years old and a younger but very large female. everything seemed to be going well with the courtship dance but when the male tried to produce a spermatophore to offer it came out wonky and he fled the corner to hide. I found him dead today.. died of embarrassment I guess

BDS has now, as of today (2 Mar), officially called for a boycott of Eurovision 2024, and for organizers to launch initiatives to pressure broadcasters and participating artists to withdraw from the competition.
