I was taking selfies before and I sighed and said “I love myself” and my little sister was like “ew” so I asked her what her problem was and she said “you’re not supposed to love YOURSELF. You have to wait for other people. I don’t love myself. If you love yourself you’re probably a slut” and I think that is the saddest thing I’ve heard all year. What kind of self deprecating bullshit are we teaching our kids that I have to hear that from a 13 year old?
