ive been working on this comic for so long TvT i wrote the idea down like 4 months ago in my notes app. there are a few more comics i wanna make with megs, but they're gonna have to wait until after im done with all my exams </3

I feel like Chekov and Sulu would try to co-DM a game of D&D for the lower decks and it would be THEE most chaotic game imaginable. Either one on their own as a DM is manageable, but you put the two of them together and. like. the story is FANTASTIC, they've gone above and beyond, but. oh boy. that table is chaos. Dice are flying. They love the rule of cool, they love silly in-jokes, and they will do most anything for the bit, so by the end, when the big bad has been defeated, somehow the party has gained a beholder? who is married to an engineering ensign's character? and AT LEAST one dragon has been seduced, and every single player became emotionally invested in an elaborate side-saga going on between two NPCs (both played by Sulu, who had to hold conversations with himself regularly) which was practically a soap opera by the end, and one poor Lieutenant's character died. like. seven times, and every one of their new ones was just a very-slightly changed version of the Last one they played.

(they also tried to DM one for the bridge crew once, but Chekov nearly burst into tears after Spock, rules-lawyer extraordinaire, corrected him on the precise rules of 17th edition D&D, and Sulu felt weirdly guilty about having enemies attack Kirk, so they called off the game after only three sessions.)

Since we know that Spock is dyslexic (L'tak Terai), I have the headcanon that his personal padd font is comic sans. It helps him to be even more efficient.

my favorite thing to do with media I like is putting my 2 favorite characters and seeing if they work together, but @diblmetta 's art is the thing that actualy pushed me to actually draw them haha...
