East River Drive, New York, 1960, a photo by Norman Parkinson
The couple in the photo are not professional models but Parkinson’s neighbors in New York. He thought they embodied a spirit of New York he wanted to capture in a photo.

Why again am I addicted to these TV Shows????
Over the last couple of months, boy am I addicted to some of the shows in Amazon Prime and Acorn Tv.
Murdoch Mysteries, Midsomer Murders, A Place to Call Home, Heartland, House, Mad About You, Snowy River Mcgregor Saga, Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries and, Outlander.
I am so hooked on these shows day and night, never leaving an episode behind and even rewatching it again over and over again.
Is this a normal thing? I even try to come up with certain plots on the next episodes. These shows give me hope, laughter and the feeling of joy.
These shows cover issues that are closely related to our daily lives that can be controversial to the simplest problem revolving around our family and friends life. Love, Sorrow, and Happiness.
I recommend everyone take the chance to watch these shows. Trust me you’ll get hooked.
From: Murdoch & Ogden love and mystery journey, to DC Barnaby investigations, to Bligh’s family affair following, Horses in the Heartland Ranch, to House and Cuddy love & hate, to two couple living in NY during the 90s, to an Australian snowy river, to another murder by the impeccable Miss Fisher and finally, to Scotland with Jamie and Claire (who time travels).
Basically, all these shows I'm watching is my breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus dessert.
PS: If you need an extra extra treat — ofc, you can always tune in on Fraiser,  the Danny Thomas Show, Friends and the Nanny. Two shows I never skip a day without.
