Pari didn't decide to push things into a more awkward direction, given that the whole situation had been truly one of the most awkward she'd certainly experienced.

"No, not at all. I don't like to make assumptions about people, and dragons fall into that too. You've got damn good reason to be as guarded as you are. Trust me, I wish I could learn a lot from that. Could have done, anyway. Still, you're quite right. And I still very much appreciate this."

Someday, somehow, she'd return the favour.

"No. Fuck no! That's literally the last thing I'd want to do. Besides, spent the last few years getting hurt myself and I sure as shit don't want to put anyone else through it. So.. as hard as this is to understand, I'm not here to hurt."

Pari explained, thankfully in that respect she had nothing to hide and no ulterior motives. She'd just been trying to get away from a bad situation and ended up somewhere else.

Although she did crack a little smile of relief.

"You got it! And.. uh.. thanks. I appreciate this a lot."
