platforming palestinian joy is just as important as sharing the suffering they're enduring during this genocide. despite continued displacement and bombardment, you cannot steal their joy and spirit. happy birthday to this sweet baby 🖤🇵🇸 may they grow up to see a free palestine
The good news that I'm finally in Egypt now with my youngest brother and the bad news is my mother and my other brother with his wife still in Rafah waiting to evacute to Egypt.
I feel so sad and depressed for leaving them i should stayed and get out together.
Unironically the Beta Trolls in Homestuck are a masterpiece of character design and writing.
12 new characters introduced fairly rapidly yet they're all memorable, distinct, 3-dimensional (some more than others, but still) and most importantly, beloved.
Honestly an inspiration and something writers and character artists should learn from.
Another point that deserved its own post, Gamzee's perfectly aware he's not well liked in the troll friend group but he's okay with that and is thrilled whenever someone gives him the time of day
Someone is bugging you. This is exciting. You're always down for shooting the wicked shit with anyone that who'll put up with you.
When someone insults him and he shrugs it off? It's not him being oblivious, he understands more than he lets on
So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????
I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.
Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?
I fucking hate this "capitalism is when you make money, the more money you make, the more capitalism it is" mindset people have gotten. No, an artist selling their own work is not them engaging in capitalism, it's literally a worker owning their own means of production.
Remember capitalism is someone profiting off of someone else's labor though owning capital. It is not simply the act of profiting at all.
this showed up in my FB memories, the lightning bolt trick! I don't sketch out the lightning bolt much nowadays but it's still super helpful when I need to lay out tricky arms and leg poses. And I still apply the logic of it, especially with how I draw arms :' ) Biggest thing it helps with is shape breakdown and visualization, we gotta use whatever works to break down shapes into simpler concepts for our brains 👏💓
UNRWA, ANERA and WCK have all been forced to pause or halt their humanitarian operations in Gaza because Israel has deliberately targeted any means of lifesaving aid to a starved, maimed, and tortured population of over 2 million Palestinians, almost half of which are children.
This has been broadcasted by Israel so that it sets the precedent of what is deemed permissible in the face of "international law". I said it before, it does not get any more obviously genocidal than this.
someone gets possessed but instead of their bestie/lover/whatever being scared they're just like ''oh goddamnit you again? you're always causing trouble for us. seriously, knock it off!''
YEAH!!!!! i approve of this i love the phrase “NOT AGAIN”
and also a variation of this where it’s not even the same entity repossessing the guy he just gets possessed by Different Things all the time so its like this
