What would gasters opinion on the amalgamates if he ever found out? I always assumed what happed to him was kinda amalgamate adjacent and the reason that the core is so powerful is cause it’s chock full of some forms of raw determination. Maybe he would horrified, maybe he’d understand or maybe he might see them as a potential to find a cure/ treatment to his/their condition. What do you think? (:

He’d certainly be watching Alphys’ experiments with DT very closely. Until her, no one else had studied it as closely as he had. The amalgamates confirmed for him that Determination caused his condition, and seeing them go back to their families lit a small flame of hope for his own future. Even if they’ll never be the same, they could still be happy.

Of course, by then he’s been back in the void long enough to become slightly detached from the world’s events, so his initial reaction is just

I actually ended up researching two completely different fields of science. Before the whole "falling into the core" thing, I researched physics. Afterwards, I ended up researching the monster equivalent of Medicine.

What's your favorite memory that you can come up with?

More generally but raising my two sons, Sans and Papyrus. (Unfortunately, my memories are a bit fuzzy there)
