A second blorbo has been acquired from a much larger fandom, and yet he's STILL not drawn often. How do I manage to get attatched to the unpopular guys.

Having a fav character who isn't drawn much in an already small fandom really has me scratching at his tags like a cat wanting to be let outside.

How do you feel about the 3 koppaites from 4?

I think they're fun! I do like jokingly calling them the store brand Koppaite crew (vs the ABC Koppaites crew) but I do enjoy their personalities a lot, even if Yorke is very similar to Alph.

I think Nelle has a lot of potential. She apparently has beef with Brittany? Which. I need to know all of the details of now. Please.

UPDATE: The images have now all been FIXED :D they were only broken on Fragile Things, but I will update them for any other fics that have them, just to future proof them.

As for downloading a fic from Ao3: you literally just click this button here. Unless you have a work skin that really messes with the layout, it'll always be at the top of the page.

It'll appear on mobile and desktop. Also doesn't matter which chapter you're on; it'll download the whole fic for you.

Clicking it will give you a few options to choose from. Your best bets are PDF, EPUP, or HTML. If you only have a phone, you may have better luck with opening PDFs and EPUPs. A PDF file will generally play nicer with the images, but an EPUP will give you a lot of options in regards to fonts, font sizes, colors, etc. so just choose which works best (and an HTML would be the best of both, especially if you can get your browser's reader mode works with it).

Don't ask me about the other file types because I have literally never heard of them.

idk if you’ll see this but uhh. All the Startouched AU fics rotate in my brain still, along with just being a genuinely incredible series of fics I enjoy. I wanted to know if you uploaded them somewhere else besides AO3?

AO3 loves not letting me enter reader-view 70% of the time (I have poor eyesight) and most of the images no longer load or aren’t there anymore (which makes me very :<<<). If not that’s cool, I just wanted to let you know.

And also thank you for your amazing works, honestly up there with some of my favorite fics ever written.

To answer your question: some chapters of the first fic were posted to my old Tumblr blog. But that is not the best way to read it either, as it's incomplete + Tumblr isn't built for multi-part fanfics like that.

That being said, it is possible to download fics from AO3 in many formats. Both EPUP and HTML should be customizable enough to suit your vision needs! As far as I can tell, that may be your best option. Once I fix the images (which, I should still have the original artworks around here somewhere, but no promises) I can show you how to download the fics ^^

Rambiling about Leaflings Again

So I know this much is probably obvious but like.

It's stated many times in Pikmin 4 that the Pikmin have parasitic traits. They apparently evolved from a parasitic ancestor, whose genes have allowed the ice and rock pikmin to "parasitize" ice and rocks respectively. Also, uh, Bulbmin are a thing.

So, clearly, that's all getting leafed is. Leaflings are just some flavor of parasitic pikmin chilling in these micro-humans/starfolk.

But... It's not parasitism. It's a mutually beneficial relationship. Obviously, it's not an ideal situation for the micro-humans - it's why there's a cure in the first place. But being able to breath oxygen on a planet full of oxygen is a pretty good deal. Plus there's the whole "fixes you up" thing and "death is meaningless" thing. And all you have to do is not be a terrible leader. They don't even care if you get cured, probably.

But this also makes me thing about the pikmin "parasite" chilling in the leafling. Like. Is it as aware as other pikmin? How much control does it have over the leafling? Does the cure kill it??? Does it live in/near the skull? Is the stem its stem? All thoughts Nintendo probably never had lmao.

Anyways uhhh idk where I'm going with this. Just some thoughts I had about these freaks bc I think about them a normal amount.
