[Though the wolf head didn’t exactly let you near it, the sheep head accepted it much more willingly. It closed its eye and stayed very still as you gave the scritches, only moving to shake its head slightly when you pull away again.]

[The wolf head snapped at the anon a little, seemingly opposed to the idea. The sheep head, however, tilted its head at you with an odd intrigue, significantly less opposed]

[I sighed once more, the exhalation more something of mild irritation and acceptance. Very well.]

[Counting Sheep had two parts to themselves; The wolf, and the sheep. They contained two heads and tails of the respective animals, along with mirroring legs of each animal; sheep legs on the front left and the back right, so on and so forth. They each had one eye mirroring the other head. The eyes were uncannily human, with fully black pupils, and did not blink]

[The wolf’s fur — along with the skin under the sheep’s wool — was pure black, and it as well as the wool almost seemed to hold galaxies within it. It also seemed to overlap in an odd fashion with the wool, making it appear more transparent at certain angles. Looking at the animal almost felt as though looking within a dream.]

[I cringed, and gave the three a sort of side-eye. Knock-Off seemed to be taking the form of Gift as well, though their colours were inverted, and instead of a bow on top of their box, they held a pair of tacky, heart-shaped sunglasses]

[The three Helpers were crowded around something, circling what looked to be some sort of bottle-cap or button. They were doing strange, ritualistic dances around it, as though enacting a seance or an exorcism.]
