Aya @family-aya is a Ghazzawi who got put in touch with organizer friends of mine in hopes that they could help with promoting her family’s survival fundraiser. Right now, the need is to continue to raise funds. None of my friends’ collective’s organizers have reach on Tumblr, so I’ve been asked to help out. I hope you all will help Aya and her family out by circulating it as much as possible 🙏🏼 I will be putting Aya in touch with a user who can independently verify the fundraiser as well, because while I know this to be legit through personal IRL connections, I am aware of the need to increase peoples’ confidence around donating and sharing. I will provide an update on that ASAP.
Here is Aya’s GFM:
I spoke to Aya, here are her words on her situation:

Hello dear friends! ❤🤍🖤💚
🍉I am Mahmoud Ayyad, a Palestinian from the besieged and destroyed Gaza 😭😭, coming from an extended family of young children, women and elderly people ❤❤ who have been suffering😭😭 for 300 difficult days from an aggressive war.
Our lives are harsh because we lack all the basic necessities of life. Everything has become scarce and unattainable. There is no food, no water, no medicine.
So, I ask you to help me keep my family safe and alive, especially after we had lost all our sources of livelihood. Please do not leave my family to struggle and suffer these difficult days alone. You can support my campaign by donating whatever you can or by sharing my posts to reach others who can help us survive the war to safety and peace. You are helping the lives of many people with your small contribution. Every donation makes a difference in our very difficult lives. But this is a legitimate campaign and has been checked by 90-ghost.

Third worldism.....what's your thoughts about it? (๑•﹏•)
Sympathetic to the point that I would say I’m a Third Worldist, but with most iterations there’s a really crude, economistic concept of the relationship between consciousness and class interests. In line with the idea that “the economic” is primary (which isn’t wrong, but implies a certain form of life instead of being mechanical), they try to find a direct causal link that ties Western workers to chauvinistic consciousness.
For example their theory of labor aristocracy has been expanded way beyond what Lenin claimed and sometimes becomes a claim that there is no value-producing or value-realizing proletariat in the West, and that they’re entirely subsidized by superprofits. This is based on their inability to understand capitalism as a total, global system, and the relationship between production and circulation. Westerners are definitely subsidized by superprofits, unequal exchange, a share in the social income from the US’s national capital but it’s not something like a quantifiable amount of money that goes directly into their wallets. Most Western workers are service workers, and produce little surplus-value of their own while realizing the surplus-value in the products they sell in finished form to consumers. The subsidizing is not really happening on an individual level for workers, instead that happens mostly for petit-bourgeoisie and bourgeoisie with shit like agricultural and real estate subsidies taken from national revenues.
Instead, the absorption of superprofits in Western consumption is tied to the way that capital, although it’s mostly produced in the Global South, is concentrated in the West. The benefits of exploitation are enjoyed through the norms of life that are possible in the West, like with automobile culture, supermarkets, year round availability of fruit, full participation in the money economy etc.
At the same time all these things are in a certain way poisoned fruit too, because via the culture industry and the techniques of mass domination described by the critical theorists are all also means of integration and political disempowerment of the workers as an autonomous faction here. They’re atomized into citizens instead of workers. As workers they have little to no power at all, and they’re paid wages which are low relative to the cost of living in an almost entirely money-based economy. They live their lives in a paternalistic relationship which is between a welfare-warfare state and its clients. Workers don’t even really figure as an interest group that has to be reconciled with other classes from the perspective of either the American bureaucracy or citizenship.
Which connects to the Third Worldist points about the lack of revolutionary potential in the West. They lack the capacity for mass politics, they lack a faith in creating this capacity, and they’re uninterested in taking the risks and enduring the process necessary to create that capacity. They want instant gratification, they have almost no autonomous psychology at all and just want to hold onto their diminishing share of the treats. They think like impoverished petit-bourgeoisie instead of like wage laborers. Many of them even speak about the legal structures of wage labor in this way explicitly and talk about seeing their body and bodily capacities as their property that they have to improve in order for capitalists to want to buy their labor-power with wages.
At the same time, I don’t think this necessarily translates to the periphery immediately being revolutionary the way some Third Worldists think. More oppression doesn’t equal more revolutionary potential necessarily. In countries like Egypt for example, even where living conditions are absolutely fucked, people don’t really give a shit about everything as long as everyday life can continue as usual and the patron relationship they have to the state still exists.
This is more or less the global norm. Class consciousness doesn’t automatically follow from interests, it’s part of a political process of workers composing themselves into an autonomous political faction. There’s much greater interest for that in peripheral states where politics aren’t reducible to bureaucrats dividing imperial spoils between classes and class fractions, but it still depends on whether politics are contested or contestable within those peripheral states.
Some of them also play a different role on the world stage compared to internally. Ultimately I think China represents a higher civilization than Yankee-Western civilization, but the Chinese system is very much based on patronage and passive citizenship and not social revolution. Their interest in global politics is also just stability and peace so that they can act as a manufacturer-merchant state, they pretty much just tail whatever the status quo is in the UN.
I think a Third Worldist global policy would have to be much more aggressive than that, definitely more than what Bandung and the Non-Aligned Movement represented. Basically the idea of a world anticolonial revolution beyond nations and state boundaries that you can find argued for by people like Mirsaid Sultan-Galiev, Frantz Fanon, Malcolm X, and Fausto Reinaga. It would have to be a conscious effort to build a new civilization and to oppose that civilization to capitalist civilization, in other words it would have to be revolutionary through and through and not just a challenge to Western hegemony that’s otherwise conservative

Twin girls Rawan and Razan both have thalassemia and other serious medical conditions. These problems require them to receive blood transfusions twice a week. This was difficult but manageable before October 2023, but became nearly impossible after that time. The IOF’s blockade on medical supplies and the massive increase in the number of hospital patients due to the attacks both mean that the girls struggled to receive their treatments.
Then, their home in north Gaza was destroyed. Not having anywhere else to stay, they were forced to flee to Rafah. They continued to receive treatments in Rafah, but this was still extremely difficult, as resources in Rafah were also scarce. The occupation has been attacking Rafah since October, but the attacks have escalated dramatically as the IOF initiates the invasion of Rafah. As the attacks have increased, so has the pressure on Rafah’s hospitals.
This has made it more and more difficult for Razan and Rawan to receive their necessary blood transfusions. These transfusions are absolutely necessary for their health. All of this is on top of the immediate danger in which they live—the danger of ongoing aerial bombardment, and the danger of the impending invasion.
Their father Arafat is trying to raise funds to evacuate their family to Egypt so that Rawan and Razan will be able to receive reliable and adequate healthcare in a safe environment. Their fund has had very, very few donations, and the fees they need to pay are quite high. Please support their campaign in any way you can. If you cannot donate, please reblog this post, the posts on Arafat’s blog @arfaaa3t, and repost this link.

new post for updates on the Haboub family's campaign bc the last one was getting long
to summarize: - we're currently raising money to evacuate Farah for urgent medical treatment. she survived the Al-Tabaeen school massacre on August 10th, and was injured in her head and stomach. - her condition worsened significantly last week. we need to raise her evacuation fee by Thursday, September 12th. - the campaign is in Swedish krona. conversion rate: $5 USD = kr52 SEK. for Farah to evacuate we need the gfm to hit 189,100 SEK, which is about 18,220 USD.
currently: 162,365 / 189,100 SEK ($15,648 / $18,220 USD)

im making this post to draw attention to the fundraiser of @wafaaresh6. this campaign has been vetted by 90-ghost here. wafaa is also the sister of @mohiy-gaza who also has been verified and confirmed that this is her account.
wafaa graduated from university and wanted to travel, work and have a chance to do many things, but the war has devastated her plans. her families house was destroyed and they've been displaced more than 10 times since then. they have no access to food, clean water or medicine and diseases are widespread. wafaa's mother suffers from hypertension, but they cant find any medication and is her condition is getting worse. the IDF has severely restricted the amount of aid that reaches gaza, and continue to send displaced people on what are essentially death marches by shrinking and changing the "safe zones".
it is hard to state how many peoples dreams, ambitions, and lives have been destroyed or cut short in just a matter of seconds. its unconscionable that anyone should have to suffer this way. to anyone reading this– especially those reading this in the comfort of their homes, in cities that are still standing– put yourself in the shoes of people who have lost everything and consider how important and life changing these donation campaigns could be.
whatever you think you would be doing during the holocaust is what you are doing right now. i think constantly about all of the refugees whos lives were saved- against all odds- through the help of many people, often anonymous strangers. this is really important and peoples lives are at risk. so please– consider gravity of this situation and help support wafaa and her family. every donation helps
€20,192 raised of €100,000
