My work is crappy and I'm currently in survival mode! which is fine, but led to not much story work.

I have to confess regarding Lancaster Palace - there isn't much to tour yet really. I have not spent a lot of time there and i really just have bits a pieces built for specific story beats - so much is in my brain and not anywhere else 😭

So, its still definitely on my list and thank you very much for your continued interest! Its on my long list of things I would love to deep dive into, but have not gotten to yet.

Sarah Iverson and Marcus Bellingham, Private Secretaries to Princess Victoria and Prince Charles

Despite a bumpy start, Sarah and Marcus have been together for the past two years. It isn't always easy navigating their responsibilities to the Royal Family and find the time to grow and maintain their relationship, but they make it work.

Both are very adept at dressing for the workplace. Marcus grew up following his father around various royal palaces and learnt how to dress professionally, yet understated. Sarah mastered sleek, fashionable dressing while working for the Duchess of Wessex, and understands that a well tailored jacket goes a long way to be taken seriously.

Privately, Sarah favours comfort over fashion and can usually be seen in jeans. While she enjoys dressing up for an occasion or date night, her perfect day is spent in no make-up and sneakers. Because of his upbringing, Marcus did not know how to dress casually before he met Sarah (co-workers often joked that he slept in his suit and tie). Sarah is slowly encouraging him to branch out into softer materials and different jumpers- and on one memorable occasion she got him to wear sneakers.

Margaret: What? Why?

George: Your behaviour at the reception for Trenton was unacceptable. You could have caused a serious diplomatic incident. I want you back under my roof before something else happens that we cannot fix

Margaret: I am not a problem that you need to fix

George: Really? You are out most nights until all hours, your protection officers practically carrying you out of clubs. Then there are the strange men, the public intoxication…. Your mother convinced me to give you space and I stupidly agreed

Margaret: She did?

George: After everything that happened with Major Hamilton, and your agreement to end things sensibly, I thought maybe you were ready to start behaving like an adult. Now, I need you where I can see you

Margaret: So I'm going to be a prisoner?

George: Nothing so dramatic. We will set up your suite again - it can be re-decorated if you want, or you can pick a new one, I don’t care. Then I am assigning one of my advisors to your staff, someone to help manage your engagements - increase the number and give more strategy and direction to them.
