Neither, but much closer to the latter than the former. It's more accurate to say that it's racist because "myth" requires a level of "the culture who originated it is dead"--Greek, Norse, Kemetic, etc--and indigenous cultures are alive and well. It's taking part in the purposeful genocide of us and seeing us as primitive and of the past. It's also racially coded more often than not--"Hindu myth" was something that I got told a lot...in my theology classes.
