Estelle glances over the small pile, nodding as she pulls out a few more bills.

"So, how you been then luv? Still bein' chased by those mutts then?" He chuckles, receiving a stern look from her rather than the banter he'd hoped for.

"I'd rather not discuss that, if it's all the same." She replies stiffly, her smile from before gone in an instant.

"Aye, that's a right nasty look, keep your head on. There's no need for it luv, I know when ta keep the quiet." He nods, looking more amused than upset as he rings her up.

Estelle hums flatly, gathering her things without another word. He just chuckles as she storms off towards the front, glancing over at Isabelle.

Estelle watches her for a moment in amusement, before proceeding to pluck two blends of tea off one shelf and a third, unmarked bag out of a bowl on the front counter, placing all three on the counter before whistling.

"Darius, get your ass out here!" She calls in a much more relaxed way than the polite tone she'd been using with Isabelle.

A man shuffles through a curtain in the back, his empty eyes enough of a dead ringer to tell you what he was, and they were soon joined by a wide, toothy grin as he recognized the woman at the counter.

"Want anything kid, or do you prefer to gawk?" She teases, already fishing out some money for her things.

"No need to worry your little head about that, I've been here for a handful of years now. I know my way around well enough, I just don't come to this district all too often. I'm sure the only reason I wandered your way was because I was stuck in my thoughts instead of watching where my feet were going. And to answer your question, I met him by chance. He just happened to be the vendor providing a needed service, and we became closer acquaintances as time went by. Ah, here it is." She smiles, coming to a stop in front of a small shop.

It was a lot nicer than the ones flanking it on either side, much more care and consideration having gone into its upkeep and presentation. Its windows were lined with hellish flora specimens, a neat little sign with a sharp toothed feline etched on its wood nestled amongst the foliage. It felt almost occult like, but in a humble sense of the word. This wasn't the kind of place the youth would go to for tacky spell books or black clothing as an act of rebellion, it had more of an earthen kind of appeal, somewhere you might find a medicinal blend of tea or an herbal candle.

Estelle snorts back a laugh, finding a great deal of amusement in her eager outburst.

"Oh, I wouldn't know about all that, I tend to not stick around when he decides to get a bite to eat. His tastes are quite far from my own preferences..." She tries to put it politely, not wanting to insult the young cannibal. "But I'm sure he'd throw in his own two cents if you asked him. He's not one to shy away from a new recipe, or at least I'd gather as much if he's as much of a connoisseur in the kitchen as he is at his trades."

She gestures towards a side street, before proceeding.

"Coincidentally, the person who runs this establishment shares a certain... quality with you. Or I supposed you could call it a shared taste? But however you refer to it, they're an old friend of mine whom I haven't seen in quite some time now."

Estelle resists the urge to laugh, her tail twitching in amusement. Hmm, why not take a chance and let this young an lively anthropophagus tag along? She had no solid reason not to, and as far as she knew, it wouldn't cause too much of a stir. And though she didn't know her too closely, she was an acquaintance of Rosie on friendly terms. That could be even better terms if she was familiar with her daughter too, though of course she would never dream of asking anything of Rosie as if she were owed something. Connections like this were just... important, in some aspects.

"Very well, this way then..." She nods in a direction, casually slipping her hands in her pockets as she starts walking down the street.

"Now, my initial plan was to make an appearance in a handful of shops a few blocks away from Cannibal Town, which is why I somehow ended up here, I suppose." She notes, withdrawing a hand so she can unconsciously gesture with it as she speaks.

"Are you really hers then?"

That would change things quite a bit. At the very least, she wouldn't have to worry about Vox having eyes on her. He was the last person Rosie would want to co-conspire with. But that still left the matter of why her daughter was sitting here now, and why she was she so keen on talking with her.
