Junior year of basketball was wrapped up at the LaPorte HS Boys Basketball awards night. Great team season and Malik was recognized for his solid play at the free throw line. He ended #6 in the history of LaPorte Boys Basketball for a season high 91% free throw percentage. He hit approximately 70 free throws this season and only missed approximately 5 free throws all season. Enjoyed the start of my day with attending the State of the City and seeing two of the organizations whose board of directors I serve on get grant money from the city. Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Club of LaPorte County and Salvation Army. Also, thank you to the LaPorte County Family YMCA for recognizing me for my six years of service to that organizations board of directors.
