body positivity has largely failed because people started arguing for attractiveness and romantic prospects instead of respect and dignity

not be like “ugh the Youths” but i think kids nowadays have gotten Too Comfortable on the internet.
like i see these tweets on twitter like “hey im 14 and i just got kicked out pls rt so i can find somewhere to stay im in x state/city” and like HOLY SHIT i cannot emphasize enough how incredibly dangerous this is. you’re broadcasting to EVERYONE that you are young, vulnerable, and desperate AND information on how to find you!!!! like i know you meant for that to be just for your friends on twitter but that’s a public tweet!!! ANYONE could see it!!! like I saw it and i have no idea who you are you are not in my circle and yet!!! so like WHO ELSE has seen it!!!

I hate twitter leftists so fucking much. There's a guy in Brooklyn Center who gave an interview on the news, face exposed, held up a can of soup and looked directly in the camera and said "this is soup for my family" and then winked to the camera. The reporter asked "you're not going to throw that at police, are you?" And he said "it's for my family." Twitter leftists respond to this by all coming out and saying he's hot and wanting to fuck him.
What he did was go on national television, with his face exposed, and said he was going to attack police officers. He just endangered everyone he organizes with. He will be identified, not just by police, and they're gonna use that to target people around him. He is putting the lives of his entire crew at risk because he wanted to say the funny meme on television and decided to expose his face to do it. DO NOT FUCKING DO SHIT LIKE THIS. DO NOT ENCOURAGE BULLSHIT LIKE THIS. IT IS AN INFOSEC NIGHTMARE AND YOU ARE GOING TO GET YOUR FRIENDS SPECIFICALLY TARGETED BY POLICE. NOT ONLY WILL THEY HARASS YOU AFTER THE FACT, THEY WILL SPECIFICALLY AIM FOR YOU WITH RIOT MUNITIONS. THIS ISN'T A FUCKING GAME.

am I the only one who thinks the restrictions in Ontario have gone too far? I’ve been supportive of all the restrictions so far but frankly letting police stop people for walking or driving (two easy and relatively harmless (as long as you’re not with anyone from outside your household) ways to break the monotony and let off steam even if you’re not going anywhere) is absolutely ridiculous. anyone who’s going to meet up and party or whatever will just lie and say they’re out for a walk/drive and people of colour and homeless people will undoubtedly be victimized by cops because of this. I hate sounding like an anti lockdown person but this is a very bad idea
Giving more power to cops is bad.
Ford and everyone else should just give everyone paid sick days and give everyone money to stay home until the virus dies (which it will in about 2-3 weeks if it can’t infect new hosts).
If they had done that last year we wouldn’t be in this mess. This constant opening the economy and closing every couple of months is giving mixed messages, and making covid worse because everyone is just frustrated and exhausted and don’t know who to believe on what is and isn’t safe.
