I can't be the only one who sees Set as being a defender of the dead and their places of rest. I feel like as the husband to Nephthys & stepfather to Anubis, the dead and their resting places would be something he holds dear, although perhaps not within his circle influence. He loves Nephthys as well as Anubis so I don't think he'd take to kindly to someone fucking up their spaces or being disrespectful to the dead & mourning.

Osiris: Ah, that does something for you.
Set: Yes, it does. It makes me feel uncomfortable.

6° Seth Seth, or Set, is a god of deserts, storms, disorder, violence, and foreigners in ancient Egyptian religion. Set had a positive role where he accompanies Ra on his solar boat to repel Apep, the serpent of Chaos and he had a vital role as a reconciled combatant. He was lord of the red (desert) land, where he was the balance to Horus’ role as lord of the black (soil) land. In art, Set is usually depicted as an enigmatic creature, maybe a beast resembling no known creature, although it could be seen as a composite of an aardvark, a donkey, a jackal, or a fennec fox. The animal has a curved snout, long rectangular ears, a thin nose. ((I drew Seth as a mix between aardvark and jackal.))

Loki: Go fish.
Set: Got any 6's?
Loki: Yeah. Got any queens?
Set: Go fish sucks.
Loki: Then what do you wanna play?
Set: Let's just break chairs over each other's heads

Drawn as we entered Sutekh Season - the long, hot, blazing Summer of ripe figs and wild fires. I had no idea it was going to be so heavy and violent. Perhaps I should have known!
