Wouldn't it be nice if only ten percent of the electorate stayed home in 2016? Try forty percent.
“i don’t like either candidate so i won’t vote” what are you thinking, if enough people wuss out we’re going to have President None Of The Above? hey we’re counting the votes and ten percent of voters stayed home and jerked it to their own ideological purity, guess we just won’t have a president and all the executive level decisions will be made by a magic 8-ball for the next 4 years

A return?
If a tumblr reappears on the interwebs and no one is around to see it, is it still blogging?

And no disrespect to Ocasio-Cortez, but that’s not a McMansion. It’s like a basic ass house. This is proof that she’s terrifying the establishment (on both sides of the political spectrum). Her clapbacks are giving me life. She is such a bright spot in an ocean of bad news.

Racial economic disparity is very real, folks. This country is not yet equal, and we still have a lot of work to do to get there. Be a difference-maker in your community.
I wish I was black so I could get a free pass all the time and pull the race card.
I’ll tell you what. On behalf of all black Americans, I’m willing to make a trade. If we get to be paid 30% more on average, be in charge of almost all Fortune 500 companies, have the next forty-three Presidents in a row be black, have 90% of auditions in Hollywood be exclusive to black actors, receive 14% more of the total scholarship funding than our portion of the population, do and deal drugs at higher rates but be arrested less, not be killed every twenty-eight hours by the police, have our literature and history be almost exclusively the source of all compulsory education curriculums, be chosen for jobs if we have felony convictions over you even if your record is clean, be held as the standard of beauty worldwide, and hold a disproportionate amount of the country’s wealth, you can have the “race card.” If we can legitimately switch places, you can “pull the race card” every day and say the n-word eighty times on a megaphone every night before you go to sleep.

If this is your second year (or third + even) be very aware that the rookies copy everything you do.
Do bad things you get bad rookies. Do good things you get good rookies. It’s really that simple.

I think this resonates with most fast-food and "quick casual" restaurant workers. I work at a competitor of Subway (we're better, it's not an opinion, but we're slightly more expensive, too, and not quite as geared toward the health-food thing as we are toward fresh, natural ingredients prepped in-store daily), and I work for minimum wage. That unfortunately means I'll need a new job soon if I want to move out of my parents' house this year, since "minimum wage" clearly doesn't mean "minimum living wage."
Anyway, I've become numb to serving people who clearly think they're better/smarter than me and seem annoyed if I have to ask them to repeat themselves in the middle of a noisy lunch rush. I'm sorry, asshole, for trying to get your order right so I don't have to deal with your pompous ass when you bring your sub back after it's been incorrectly made.
Are there some idiots and bad workers out there? Like in any industry, yes. Should people make generalizations about all restaurant workers because of those few? Obviously not.
I firmly believe that everyone should spend at least a few months in the service industry in their lives. You gain a very helpful perspective on the people who serve you.
