This new segment is called “song stories”. Not only will I review albums but also tell stories about songs and their significance.
Walking the night. It is a song from the style councils 1987 album “the cost of loving”, (of which I’ll review later). It’s the last song I listened to on my way to the stripe club to meet with girl Kate. After my fall out with this girl marissa 10 days earlier I set my sights on this girl Kate, she was hot, older than me and was a stripper. She checked all the boxes. Unfortunately when we went to meet on February 10th, 2021 I asked her if it was a safe area as I don’t often venture to clubs, and I was subsequently robbed that day between 4:30 and 6pm. I still haven’t officially recovered from that time period. Most of the stuff I lost were gifts so it was hard to hunt down everything and buy everything back, I only got 2 thirds the cost from insurance.
Anyway back to the music. It’s a slow ballad like track. It has a great bass line in the beginning. And nice guitar riff in the beginning. It’s exactly where a stripper would take you from listening to the song. The lyrics are out of this world, Paul weller’s lyrics “I wonder if I will see you again” is the exact mind set I had when leaving the club, only to find out seconds later that my car had been broken into.
Nonetheless it’s a great track with deep vocals and harmonies, Melodie’s, you name it. I’ll be reviewing more style council songs and albums in the near future.

Out of the Vein, released in 2003 is Third Eye Blinds third studio album following their early successes from their debut self titled “Third Eye Blind” (1997) and “Blue” (1999). It was released on May 13th 2003 by Elektra records.
Out of the Vein was recorded at the group's own Mourning Wood Studios in downtown San Francisco and at Skywalker Sound. Frontman Stephan Jenkins felt that Out of the Vein would mark "a new period for the band", and added that "The first two albums were like two parts of the same piece. We've had a hiatus. This is a new beginning." Jenkins reported having written over 40 songs for the album as of August 2001, just prior to starting the recording process for the album. Out of the Vein was originally scheduled to be released in early 2002, but was delayed several times before its release in May 2003. According to Jenkins, some of the reasons for the delay stemmed from a self-imposed pressure to live up to Third Eye Blind's previous successes, leading him to rewrite lyrics.
The material went over many changes before finally being released. Jenkins originally wanted the album to be titled Crystal Baller, after the song of the same name, but it was renamed to Out of the Vein because the other members hated the name. The single "Blinded" was originally titled "When I See You". A scrapped collaboration with hard rock artist Andrew W.K. was still set to be on the album less than two months before the album's final release date.[10] Their collaboration was titled "Messed Up Kid". Jenkins and Salazar were motived to work with him after having attended a live show of Andrew W.K.'s, and coming away from the experience equal parts baffled and impressed by his style of music. The song featured Andrew W.K. performing backup vocals; Jenkins noted that "his voice is so hilarious because it sounds like it's doubled and compressed, but it's not."
Out of the Vein only had one single “Blinded”
The protagonist of the song is a man who goes to his ex-lover's apartment and spies on her through the bathroom door, illustrated in lyrics such as "I see you fogging up the mirror / Vapor round your body glistens from the shower." Kinda like my life almost.
"Blinded" received positive critical reviews. Billboard's Chuck Taylor wrote that the song was "a jangly, pop-rooted rocker that reflects the signature style of the band: lyric-loaded, a big chorus, hearty, organic instrumentation, and more than a smattering of sexual innuendo. Adult top 40 and modern rock should take this baby in and give it a happy home."[1] Billboard's Larry Flick thought that the song would "easily stand the test of time."[6] While comparing Out of the Vein to Third Eye Blind's previous work, the Record-Journal's Alan Sculley wrote, "Frisky songs like 'Blinded (When I See You)' and 'Crystal Baller' sit comfortably alongside past hits like 'Semi-Charmed Life' and 'Never Let You Go.'

Razorlight set the world on fire with its debut album Up All Night🌙  in 2004. with singles like “Up All Night”, “Golden Touch”, “Rip It Up”, “Vice”, “Stumble and Fall”, and “Rock ‘N’ Roll Lies” its nothing short of a summer tune.
After the number 8 single "Golden Touch", their debut album, Up All Night, was released on 28 June 2004, and charted at number 3 in the UK. The critical reception was generally good, receiving good reviews from NME ("Razorlight's debut packs more tunes than Franz [Ferdinand], more spirit than The Strokes and more balls than nearly every band out there right now."), Q magazine, Billboard and Rolling Stone who said "Razorlight's debut is a masterpiece. [Borrell]'s got the golden rock-star mop, the London sneer and a band full of crazy Swedes. But fortunately, he's also got the tunes."

More Life - Drake [2017]
Drake Just released his album like “Playlist” on March 18th. This playlist sound very drake-esque. Drake really brings in some new sounds without sounding too far away from his signature rap/sing style. This style is audible in songs like “Passionfruit”, “Blem”, and a little on “Sacrifices”.
Drakes best Rap lyrics come in on “Nothings Into Somethings”, where he dives into his past relations with some female. “Kmt (feat. Giggs)” Also features some nice lines when he talks about how hard he works on his music and the streets he owns.
To me this album doesn’t sound anything far from anything we haven’t heard from Drake already, just better. My favorite parts of this album are the beachy toons like “Passionfruit” and the features like Kanye West on “Glow”, Wests production skills were definitely present on that track; PARTYNEXTDOOR on the song “Since Way Back” and the Track feature with “Sampha” on the song 4422. These songs really break up the album. They all fit.
To me this album gets 5 Stars. This will be a spring/summer banger no doubt.
