He covers his mouth, looking away as he attempts not to laugh. When he recoups he looks back over at Thanatos, taking a deep breath to further calm himself. These are genuine worries!
“I get that, if it brings you any peace of mind that should start to stop now that she’s given birth.”
He begins, moving to stand now.
“You’re doing the best you can, try to rest more too. You’ll need it.”
"Your daughter worries me sick."
Thanatos huffs, sitting down next to him. He keeps pushing the stroller with both children in it back and forth, making sure to keep them happy. The gods know that if he stopped for even a second, both of them would start crying.

He listened intently, humming softly as Thanatos spoke. Then with a sigh he set his pen down.
“What has she been doing?”
He questioned, looking up at Thanatos.

“Ah, that’s not…common… but I’m not surprised sed by it either…”
He began, walking over.
“Most mortals experience it, though it’s not unheard of amongst gods. Hell I saw it one other time with Apollo.”
He sighed, crossing his arms.
“What I’m saying is that it isn’t something you need to worry about. However that doesn’t mean you should be letting her eat crayons.”

He was silent, trying to keep a straight face at the original phrasing before taking a deep breath.
“I see…”
He mused, going silent for a bit.
“I wouldn’t recommend letting her, especially because of how recent her birth was. Rest should be her top priority. Try to encourage her to rest for at least a few hours, that way you know that she’s getting some rest. Plus it’ll seem more appealing if to her it’s a few hours rather than the whole day.”

“Apologies my love… I… well…”
He has no excuse
Thanatos approached Hades. It wouldn't do well to get his daughter pregnant and then not tell him, now would it? He took a steadying breath, nervous.
"Lord Hades? I must... admit something."
- @the-god-of-death
“What is it Thanatos?”
He looked up from his work, setting down his papers to look at the younger god.

“I see, thank you for telling me, Thanatos.”
By now his suspicions were practically confirmed, he knows Thanatos is the father (Thankfully, in truth he could think of no one better for the role)
“I’d hope so, i entrust you’ll keep her safe as well. She isn’t exactly known to be careful… all I ask is that you’re there to take care of her as you promised me.”
He stands now, walking over to Thanatos before extending his hand for a handshake. Almost as if this were some kind of business deal.

He’s silent briefly, shocked.
“I’m sorry..?”
He sits there, now thinking about what this means. It explained a lot actually. But at the same time he didn’t expect it.
“She’s expecting..? Goodness I didn’t think this would be happening so soon…”
He gave a heavy exhale.

He seemed to relax slightly as he heard the answer, walking over and handing the journal back to Thanatos.
“First things first, you can have this back.”
He offers Thanatos his journal back.
“Second, you aren’t fired.”
OPEN STARTER!
Thanatos was feeling... weird.
He had caught himself staring at Makaria so often. Thoughts of her invaded his head. Even while he was trying to work, he's found himself staring off, thinking of her instead of what he should be doing.
Whenever she was around, he felt weird, too. It was like this fuzzy, warm feeling that made his heart feel big. He was worried at first. But then he remembered he is a god, and he does not need to worry about his heart stopping like the mortals do. Now he worries that he's allergic to Makaria.
He had wrote all this down in a journal. Unfortunately, he had forgotten to put his journal away, and it was on display for you to read.
"What are you doing?"

This definitely wasn’t what Hades was expecting, sure he already knew Thanatos was dating Makaria… but this..? He thinks he’s allergic to her?? He’ll from what Hades has seen he seems like he’s obsessed with her.
As the sound of Thanatos’s voice he clears his throat, picking up the journal and holding it up, though closing it.
“Is this yours?”

He was silent briefly, staring at his niece.
“I’m afraid I can’t do that. Taking a break would require my wife, if not one of my kids to take over.”
[She peeks around the corner. She's not usually in the underworld.]
Uncle Hades?
( @cupb3arer-of-y0uth )
(Getting over my fear of interaction, hi mun!)
He glances up, crossing bis arms as he spots his niece.
“Hello Hebe, what brings you here?”
He questioned, walking over. Typically he was a busy man, but he was willing to make time for certain things.
(That’s so real, I’m too nervous to message half the other blogs I see, but helloo!!!)

“Relax boy, it’s not like I intend on sending you back to the Elysium anytime soon.”
He stated, his eyes narrowing slightly.
“You’re among other Chthonic deities.”
(Atticus was just walking around the underworld, usual if he wasn’t buried in letters, then he saw hades and immediately backed off)

He glanced at the younger male, a quiet hum escaping him.
“You seem… Nervous young one.”
He spoke quietly, crossing his arms.
“Remind me of your name again.”

“You make it sound like you hang out with her begrudgingly.”
Hades spoke, uncrossing his arms now and heading back over to his desk.
“Regardless, I’ll tell her what you told me today.”
He then holds up a stack of papers for Thanatos.
“Here’s your work.”
"Hey, Lord Hades."
Thanatos fidgets his hands, nervous.
"I... made a really big mistake. And I want to take on some of Makaria's work again. To try and make it up to her. And you said last time that I have to tell you before I do that."
- @the-god-of-death
“From what I gathered, you’ve wronged my daughter. Now you’re taking on some of her work in an effort to make it up to her?”
He questioned, setting his paperwork off to the side and looking at Thanatos.
“I suppose I can set aside some of her work for you, but how effective do you think that will be in making things right?”

He nodded, crossing his arms.
“It was very obvious, whenever Makaria would come home you’re all she’d talk about. You also treat her a lot kinder than you do anyone else.”
He gave a hum.
“Even Persephone heard about you two. She even told me if it didn’t happen quickly enough she’d set something up for you both in her garden to help you two progress.”
"Hey, Lord Hades."
Thanatos fidgets his hands, nervous.

He’s silent for a few moments, he’d known there was something between the two. But he couldn’t help but be…irritated… that Thanatos had lied to him the last time they spoke.
“I was wondering when it would happen.” He stated with a sigh. “I don’t appreciate you lying to me, Thanatos. However I’m willing to let it slide. I know you’re a good man. Though next time you plan on keeping her overnight I’d appreciate a message or something. You two had worried Persephone and me.”
"Hey, Lord Hades."

As Thanatos speaks he splits some of the paperwork, making sure to give Thanatos some more of it compared to Makaria.
“It really isn’t, Thanatos. If you want to show her you’re trying then show her. You make it right by apologizing and fixing your mistake.”
He replied.
“You need to show her that you listened. Don’t just attempt to fix it by doing something that you aren’t even sure she’ll like.”
"Hey, Lord Hades."
