what’s with warriors randomly humanizing and empathizing with “lesser” creatures such as food

does anyone else remember that one time they killed a bird that had eggs to hatch and raise and it was uncomfortably sad for like a paragraph or two bc I feel like I imagined that

i think one of the weirder choices was making the badgers sentient and then having them driven?? out of their home?? like our good guys just drove a bunch of intelligent badgers out of their own houses and it's a good thing??? they didn't have to do that why did they do that

i semi-remember that?? maybe? im like 70% sure cinderheart said something about mama birds in oots, my memory is failing me. i like that they have respect for prey animals though, nothing wrong with that in itself. it's the choice to make them just as intelligent as the cats where you get into some uh messy territory lol

the best part of kittypet/loner/any beast that lives with humans/has approximate knowledge of humans is you can make their name sooooo silly. scourge knows what a dishwasher is ergo dishwasher = viable name

hmmm not something i really keep track of, sorry :( uh the mlp one is huge and still pretty active, definitely not as wild as it used to be! i guess from my gut instinct, the lion king has always had a pretty enduring following. smaller and quiet communities (probably) exist around guardians of ga'hoole, the ginga series, beastars, okami, pmd and cattails?
