Since the Spi’ly clan live in swamps and mash lands, they have webbing between their fingers and toes. They also have border shoulders and hips.

These traits make them excellent swimmers. Their colors also range from brown, green and reddish browns. These colors help them blind in with their surroundings.

Because they spend so much time in the water, they can hold their breath up to 20-30 minutes. Ani’mal is much larger so she is able to hold her breath longer.

Do you by any chance have a story of your clan/headcanons/OC's it would be nice to know!

I don’t have anything in Wattpad or Ao3. But I have drawings and things like that I am working on.

So far I have two OCs. Tal’ma (also nicked named Tal’mama lol) and her only child, Ani’mal.

Tal’ma is a pale yellow color with grey/light blue eyes. Tal’ma had fertile issues and spent MANY years trying to have pup. She did ANYTHING to help her reach her dream. Finally she successfully has one, Ani’mal. Sadly she didn’t get to watch her daughter grow up but that is probably for the best

Ani’mal is HUGE. She was even big as a pup. Everyone would joke that her mother was going to have twins but Ani’mal ate them. Also when I say Ani’mal is huge I’m not just talking about her height. This women is THICC. Also she is a bad blood

Also another idea I have for the clan is that they do mourn anyone that has died. Pups, young bloods, ect. Even those they didn’t know. Why? Because they were alive and now they gone. For pups and young bloods they have a special spot for them to be buried at. It takes them a few days to get there, depending on where the clan is staying at the time. And if a female dies during child birth she is buried there too.

Actually love the concept of your clan! It's very clever world building and I'd love to know more about it! Like what are the hunting methods of the this clan, is it influenced by their beliefs?

Yes actually. Unlike a lot of clans, they have animals they work with to hunt, fish and gather. These animals are to be treated with great respect.

The pups are taught at a young age to respect nature. If you do then you will be greatly rewarded just like their ancestors did.

They train to hunt and kill but to also gain the trust of those who will be their ally one day. 

They show off the skulls of their kills but also the animals that helped them. A lot of animals are hard to befriend so it’s a big deal if you got the harder ones to help

Fun Fact about the Spi’ly Clan, The clan does kills like other yautji clans. But instead of killing for their chiva, they have to tame five beast with in a year on their own

The Spi'ly Clan is a clan of yautja that live high up in the tree tops.

This clan's home looks like it's over run by spiders by all the webbing all over the place.

The Spi'ly believe that a gaint white spider called Ani'me created the clan to help them and bless them with wit and speed.
