It’s funny. I’m not a supernaturally-inclined person typically, but after I’d crossed the bridge and found myself walking through the woods for a bit, I couldn’t shake the feeling that there was someone else there. There were these consistent sounds of something else moving nearby, too loud to be something like a squirrel. Logically, based on the sides of the woods, it couldn’t have been anything larger than a coyote or deer… it didn’t sound like either of those, though. In particular, as I was leaving, just as I was about to step onto the bridge again, I heard what sounded distinctly like footsteps, not more than 6-10 paces behind me, stopping when I paused. But when I turned to look, there was nothing there.

I crossed the bridge and went back to my car, and didn’t hear anything else strange or unusual. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer.
