“ I totally threw him under a bus just now and I didn’t mean to, considering he’s actually pretty cool. Yeah I had a shit load of them. I just got sick a while back and hospital visits started turning into my hobby”

“Oh yeah, it’s a very scary color. I mean, I don’t even know what to call it, yellow? Brown? I don’t know.” Harley chuckled, her gaze dropping briefly as she pushed her hair back. “I wouldn’t know, I haven’t…actually attempted to go in. I got in line! But chickened out during the wait.” She admitted, blushing slightly at how lame that probably sounded.

“Amber maybe? Who knows though since I feel like color variations can be seen differently. “Parker replied before looking over at Harley surprised “ You haven’t gone in? Do you want me to go with you?”

“Well cider is kind of terrifying. It’s got that weird color and all that” Parker replied shaking his head a bit over what he had just said. “Are the houses really that scary?” He asked, seeing as how he just showed up.

Update: Parker has completely changed his life again. He has so far gone from partying frat boy to overly serious business major who was living in New York to a going back to his initial Psychology major. He made the change after moving back home for a bit to take care of his sister who seemed to be falling apart and realized he was needed and is now trying to make her life easier. Update: Thing’s might be looking up for Nico and that terrifies her. She know as soon as thing’s go well reality likes to punch her down. Her health has improved since she started to take the proper medication she needed and hospital visits aren’t as regular. She is also a little less alone feeling now that her older half brother is sharing an apartment with her. Nico hates that he’s sort of keeping an eye out on her, but is glad she doesn’t feel alone anymore. The only problem is she’s spent so long not being social and now she is unable to find her footing.

“Are you though? It looks like you’re crying blood. What the hell happened in that theater?” Porter replied looking at her surprised. He clearly did not go into the same theater as she had. “ Carrie? Well it’s a every teenagers nightmare situation.”

I’ll take you up on that offer, so you better be serious,” she responded. “If I don’t come out better than I am now, after those lessons, I’m holding you liable for the next ring toss accident I get involved in.” Lana walked beside him. “There’s a booth here that’s selling probably the best guava-peach milkshakes I’ve tried. Shall we?”

“ Well I usually aim to win when it comes to most thing’s in my life. I am serious. Serious as a heart attack of course. “ He smirked. “ Is that right? Am I going to have to come up with a defense if I’m wrong? It’s a deal though, because I know I’m right. I mean that does not sound like something I have ever tried in my life, but sure, lead the way” He smiled

“I won!” she chirped, visibly surprised. “That was my twelfth try, so maybe I do. Are you offering lessons?” she asked, as she took the unicorn stuffed toy from the man in charge of the ring toss booth. “I really am sorry. I guess I was just caught in the moment. This whole carnival is overwhelmingly nostalgic. Can I buy you a milkshake to compensate?”

“Then I guess it was worth it. “ Porter smirked. “ Am I saying I could have won that in at least half the shots? Yes. If you want to win more thing’s I’m not a bad person to talk to” It was true Porter usually got what he wanted even though he was in the middle of not having that in his personal life. “It’s alright. No one got hurt or destroyed their clothes so were good. If you want. I wont argue with that sort of an offer”

One last ring, chimed the man behind the booth. “Twelfth times the charm,” she replied, a breathless laugh brimming from her lips, caught in a moment of rapture. It was nice to have something from her childhood - back when things were a little less complicated than they were now. It was a welcome distraction and she promised herself she was going to enjoy every second of it. In one fluid motion, she drew her hand forward, tossing the ring towards the empty bottles, before it smacked against something, rather, someone beside her. “Oh!” she cried, quickly muttering an earnest apology. “I’m so sorry! Did I hurt you?” Behind her, the ring she had thrown hula hooped around the neck of a bottle.

Porter had been in his own world on his phone until something had crashed into him. He raised an eyebrow looking over in the direction of where the ring had come from. “If it was the bottle we’d have a problem. but since it’s the ring I’m inclined to forgive you” Porter replied looking over. “ I’m fine. Maybe you need help with your throwing” He replied before looking at the shot she made. “Or maybe not”

“Because then I’ll just be alone and bored all the time.” Mini lamented, clearly not one to be pleased by anything he’d say in response. “I mean, I get the appeal of living alone, I do, but I’d just end up asking someone to move in with me because I hate being alone most of the time I just like the option now and then.”

“ That is not exactly true Mini. I haven't lived on campus in  a long time, cause I didn’t want to share space. “ He remarked but understanding her reasoning. “ Why don’t you just do that? You have plenty of people you can ask to be a roommate?”

“If the housing isn’t based on Greek life anymore do you think that means I won’t have a single anymore?” Mini asked the question with visible disgust at the idea. “If I have a roommate literally in my room at all times, how am I supposed to do anything fun?”

“Why don’t you just get your own place? It solves the problem with having to share a room and you don’t have to deal with anyone else’s bullshit? The housing not being based on the Greek system is kind of annoying though, I will admit to that”

Immediately after a guy walked by, yelled ‘Dylan’ at Knox and held his hand up for a high five, which Knox gave him and shook his hand furiously after the guy was gone, because clearly that guy was heavy handed. “At least I’m 85% sure being this Dylan guy is mostly a good thing…I’m hoping…praying really.” 

“Never heard of him” Porter replied drinking what was left of the contents in his cup as he turned to notice someone had been talking to him. He believed he knew everyone in town so this mystery popular guy seemed strange, but didn’t think on it too much since he wanted another drink soon. “Why not? If you can get away with being someone else while reaping the benefits of it in the process, it doesn’t sound like a bad situation at all. Ask around though, just to make sure this guy isn’t an asshole “
