I'm Back!

I have returned from the mountains where I have traveled. I'd like to dedicate a high amount of praise to actors. I memorized a three and a half page poem in a day, I'm really tired. after the prerelease last night, I bought the nissa planeswalker deck. inside one of the boosters was a nissa, vital force. so I got two different versions of my favorite planeswalker from buying just one thing

Anyone else notice Panharmonicon coming out now, and next June includes a reprint of Roon? He’s already infamous in my playgroup for ETB or cloud shift tricks, and with Panharmonicon, it’s sure to be even crazier. Got a non-creature problem or two? Acidic Slime is in the deck. Couple of creatures got you down? Friend Hunter is a friend in the deck. I’d probably swap in a Cathar’s Crusade and Captain of the Watch (6 soldiers and 12 +1/+1 counters? Yes, please), but I’ll make sure to have a Panharmonicon ready when I pick up this deck.

A Morning Ballad

Just wanted to share a great game from last week

So i was playing a late night game of EDH with me and 3 other buddies. It was maybe 1-1:30 am and I needed to end it quickly because we all had work in the morning. I was playing my Brion Stoutarm deck that has a very heavy goblin subtheme. The Oloro player had stalled the game pretty hard and had somewhere around 65 life and was the second biggest threat on the field. I had about 25 goblins out, which had started as 4. Thats just kinda how Krenko worked out. I also had out Boggart Shenanigans and Impact Tremors. Now, I had an idea to end the game quickly. I cast Goblin War Strike to do 25 damage to the Oloro player. Then I passed my turn. As luck would have it, he drew and played some board wipe or another, i forget which. In response, I tapped Krenko. Everyone immediately took 25 damage from 25 more goblins entering the field, which knocked out my friend playing Horde of Notions, and left two others in pretty bad shape. And then, when my 50 goblins died, I got to spread out the damage from boggart shenanigans as they died. It was the best, most butt-clenching win I have ever pulled in my life. Especially since I was thinking i’d probably lose because once my goblins were gone, I didn’t have anything else.

An excellent play was made, Daretti Iconoclast destroyed a squid making over 20 squid tokens, then with Blowfly Infestation out Yeen played Incremental Blight to sweep the tokens. He is currently being forced to take a bath before reentering the tavern. -Delf

I looked up Cockatrice and found that rhe licensing was illegal and the development site was shut down by hasbro as of 2013. I found numerous githubs on the project. Could you link to which version is compatible with games that YEEN will be playing?

Use the woogerworks server, and 4747 for one of the odd things, I have forgotten what it goes to, but it's necessary. You will have to make an account, but the rest is easy. An Open Letter to Tibalt, the Fiend Blooded

Gather around the hearth, this is an open letter to the profane prince himself, Tibalt. Dear Tibalt, Sir, I mourn for you. Most people acclaim you to the be the worst walker in the game, but I think contrary. You have a great ult, just a terrible way to get there. I mean, if I draw my omniscience and loose it to you, I would die. But, if you insurrect a huge field, you devastate. And beyond that, are you even alive? Sorin killed you in a duel deck, but most duel decks are not canon. Could we see you again, or will you be a the second ghost walker? Will Kaya have to kill you? A Special Request

Mister Yeen would like to host a special game of EDH on cockatrice tomorrow (Sunday) at 10pm CST. He would like to test the potency of planeswalkers as commanders, as one developer mentioned he would be fine with them being used as commanders. This is not an invitation to break cards like Jace the Mind Sculptor, this is an invitation to see if planeswalker commanders could add to our fun in EDH. Evening With Commander

This evening with my Vorel of the Hull Clade deck, I pumped a nimbus swimmer to become a 36/36. I played Prime Speaker Zegana with 36 1/1 counters, drew 37 cards and won the game.
