most nationals that I went to were smaller, but I went to two big ones (NYCDA and TDA) 10-15 years ago. both times, the winner was extremely obvious to me and my friends! they were always getting called out in classes, and they stood out above basically everyone else in every class. however, I would say that in both cases, the winner wasn't surprising to people who weren't in the convention room with them or anything. I went to NYCDA way before it was followed by fans, but the girl who won had won national Outstanding Dancer 2 years before. at TDA, I was on tumblr and nearly everyone here predicted that the girl who won would win

Anyone who has been to a big nationals I have a question

Throughout the week is it obvious who’s gonna win? Like does everyone know it’s gonna be a certain dancer because they got called out alone in every class? Or is it just as hard to predict a winner as us watching from across the country?

her first few episodes of dance moms (in season 5, before she was a regular member of the team) were in the fall of 2014, so she was touring then! but when she actually appeared on the show regularly in season 6, it in fall 2015 onwards, after she finished touring for tda

she toured as mini bd when she was competing age 11. in season 5 of dm, she was also competing 11, season 6 was age 12, and season 7 age 13

was brynn touring for tda during dance moms? or was this after, i forget how old she was when she was on the show

you discovered p21 through the pop muzik tik tok trend, i watched p21 compete fergalicious for the first time on the nuvo long beach 2016 livestream. we are not the same.

yeah i definitely think pop muzik is by far their most viral dance! i work with middle/high schools (in an academic setting) and multiple of them have either sang the song or started doing the dance this week. even one of my coworkers was singing the song, so it’s reached his fyp in one way or another

i just remember in the p21 “which age group” video when they argued ab which group had more viral dances and they said ydlm for the seniors but now i fear pop musik has taken over
