No, seriously. If you don’t have money to help out an artist financially, the second best thing is to reblog all the things you like. While liking it does tell the artist that “hey I really like this!” It does jack shit because the only ones who will see that are me and you.

Why do you think there are so SO many posts made by people that are literally summed down to “please reblog my artwork I need the notes!”? Because no one reblogs artwork. Unless you’re a ridiculously popular blog with thousands of followers, you’ll only end up getting 1 or no reblogs.

I've been messaging back and forth with @mohammedalanqer after he shared his fundraiser with me, and very quickly into our conversation I offered to draw a comic about him to help boost his gofundme. he was incredibly excited about the idea and shared so many lovely pictures of his family for reference. the text is based off his story of him and his family living under constant bombardment, which you can read here.

he has been able to raise €50,403 out of €58,000, meaning he only has €7,592 left to be able to evacuate. please share this comic as much as possible so that he can reach his goal!

I am Ahmed, 31 years old, with my wife Asmaa and our children: Mohammed (9 years old), Kareem (6 years old), Namer (4 years old), and Sahad (1.5 years old). We have faced many challenges in this war, starting from the destruction of our home to the famine we continue to endure in northern Gaza.

My son Mohammed suffers from motor and

hearing disabilities, among other health

issues. I used to have a workshop for windows, kitchens, and all aluminum work, but due to the war, my livelihood was completely destroyed, and I can no longer meet our basic needs.

This is our home that was destroyed in this terrible war.

My goal is to leave Gaza to save my family's lives. The cost of travel is $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, plus travel and accommodation expenses.

Together, we can support Ahmed and his family during this ordeal. Your donation, regardless of its size, can make a difference in the lives of these children who need a fresh start.

The money they are trying to raise will go toward such basic necessities as food and water for their young children, as well as medical care. Wafaa's mother suffers from chronic hypertension, and her brother Mohiy recently had an operation to remove his gallbladder, to treat the hepatitis and severe pancreatitis that developed from unclean drinking water.

Before October 7th, Namer Matar and his wife owned a stonemasonry business, now destroyed by the constant bombing of the zionist occupation. His wife was pregnant with twins, and she gave birth to two boys in unsanitary and atrocious conditions in displacement. 3 months after their birth, both boys contracted a serious condition that needed immediate intensive care, but because of the zionist occupation's bombings of hospitals and the blockade preventing medical aid from entering, the care was not adequate, and one of the boys - Ali (named after his martyred uncle) - died very quickly. His brother - Zakaria - is still undergoing treatment for survival, and has special needs such as needing lactose free milk. They have 4 other children, as well as Namer's grieving parents, who all need to be evacuated.
