They have an internal poison sac where they generate and store their poison; however, Toxel can also secrete the same poison through the pores in their skin. By manipulating the chemical makeup of this poison, they can produce electricity - they can even channel this voltage through the toxin coating their skin, causing a tingling paralysis to those who touch them. Toxel take a long time to mature, during which they become steady and capable walking on two feet. As they age, they begin to exhibit dimorphism based on their inherent nature; those with a more excited or volatile nature will evolve into an Amped Form, while Toxel with a more quiet, serious nature will evolve into a Low Key Form. Amped Form-bound Toxel tend to be short-tempered and aggressive, known to attack anything that makes eye contact with them, while Low Key Forms are more prideful and known to goad opponents into making the first move.They practice generating electricity by strumming the guitar-string-like protrusions that develop on their chests. You can tell the age of a Toxel or Toxtricity from a distance by the skill and number of notes present in their playing.
