Why am I suddenly seeing a headcanon that Violet cheated on Henry floating around?

Or has that always been a thing and I’m just new to the party?

But why? Why does anyone have to cheat on anyone? A high school romance where the girl has to choose between the guy she’s dating and the guy she’s seeing behind his back. Talk about cliche.

Henry and Violet were cute. Why tarnish it by making one of them the bad guy???

I have nothing against Violet Believer. I actually liked them. And I have nothing against Violet herself. I like her, too. She was a sweet girl and I wish her no ill will. I actually imagine that she grew up and found her own true love, just like Henry found Ella. I even have a face claim for Adult Violet.

As for Violet Believer. It was sweet and they were cute, but it’s in the past. They were together for most of high school, I think, and they were that couple that you think might have a chance at making it. But they don’t and that’s okay. They part as friends and they’ve both found their own happiness. They’ve probably run into each other at Granny’s and exchanged polite conversation. How have you been? How’s the wife? That sort of thing.
