I'll admit, I am a MASSIVE fan of The New Link AU! So much so that I actually prefer this story over the actual game!🤣

Since it is their 4 year anniversary, I made some fanart to celebrate the big day.

An idea gave me an excuse to draw kid Charles and Henry. The context behind this specific shot is... bittersweet to say the least.

There's a reason why there's no light behind their eyes.

Yes life has it's ups and downs, even I had some moments during the wait myself, but just came to remind you that you're such a amazing talented artist who's doing their absolute best to make others feel happy and inspired! ◾Considering how long I've been gone, I felt it necessary to answer questions that are spoilers, but the story won't be spoilered much anyway.

◾And one of those questions is about Henry's powers in this comic. What happened to them after Charles defragmented the world? What about his memory?

◾After defragmentation, Henry was spawned shortly before Breaking the Bank. He does not remember what happened to him before (the events of all the paths that he discovered, how he tried to save Charles in space, and how he actually saved him. He doesn't remember anything or anyone), and he went to the bank automatically. As before, he is caught and imprisoned.

◾About his powers: at the time of his imprisonment (according to the local timeline, it was August 7, 2019), they were still with him, but there was one significant detail that made him think that something was wrong - and this is a spoiler, which I will not tell you yet. And beyond that detail, Henry couldn't use his powers to the fullest.

◾But when Charles was spawned to the new timeline (ItA, May 27, 2020) after defragmentation, Henry's powers disappeared completely, passing to Charles.

кстати, вопрос. если происходящее в комиксе происходит прямо перед ItA, то с какого момента генри лишился магии с выборами? знает ли он о своей потере или после перезагрузки генри и не знал о фейлах/выборах/концовках и т.д?

i really like the emotion of charles when dadforce handed him henry's earpiece. this mixture of bewilderment in the spirit of "wait, i've already seen this shit somewhere" is wonderful, given that for charlie the ending with henry's death is just a nightmare, where he met a person who did not exist in the framework of sleep, who wore this earphone

by the way, I have a question. If what happens in the comic takes place right in front of ItA, then since when did Henry lose his magic with the election? Does he know about his loss or after rebooting henry didn't know about the failures / elections / endings, etc.?

HI! I would like to say that you're comic is AMAZING! I found it last year and it was best thing i've read in my life. That's mainly because of Charles. Love the artstyle so much, keep it up! I especialy LOVE it when Charles is asleep, I have like every picture of him sleeping in my camera roll! Now there is one question I want to ask about Charlie. Does he snore from time to time? Idk Why I asked this, I think I just wanted to hear it in a dub or something😅. Pray that all goes well for you, Keep on going!❤️

◾Both Sven and Burt will be in the current chapter

◾I didn't think through Burt's lore directly in detail. But here are some of them:

• he ran away from home at the of 15

• at the age of 18 he joined the Toppat Clan

• at the age of 20 he became the head of communications in the clan (and he has been in this position for 4 years now)

◾And not related to Burt, but Henry in my AU has a similar situation in his biography. At the age of 18 he ran away from home
