Okarun: sh-she’s so driven and tempers her sense of justice with kindness. I’ve never known someone so independent and strong and compassionate all at once

interviewer: tell me about the moment you knew ‘this is going to last’

Okarun: when she turned back around on the staircase the first day we met. She’d had a bad day and I didn’t help, but even though she snapped at me, she *turned around*. I thought “Even if it only lasts five more minutes while she apologizes, that’s five minutes more than I’ve ever had before”. And with every minute that passes from there, even through the fights and the emergencies, I’m more and more sure of her kindness and love, and that we’ll… stick. That we’ve found our person.

Interviewer: that’s beautiful. Ayase-San…?

Momo: the same hallway

Interviewer: oh…!

Mokarun Prompt week 2025, Day 2: Orpheus and Eurydice.

I like to think in this version, Okarun's curse is tied to his music. When he plays his lyre, the mouth at the bottom opens, his hair goes white, and he alters the speed of time around him. I think he loses control of this ability as soon as he loses Momo.

Probably one of the things I love the most about Momokarun is how they're always in sync with each other, they matched each other's energy and they literally share the same brain cells

I love how it's always been like that from the moment they met and it never changed.

My boy is soft sweaters and worn t shirts and cardigans when he isn’t in athletic wear. He outgrows half his shirts while working out and Momo takes him on shopping dates and THAT’S why he’s so drippy in the art
