i want devices that are functional and hardy and i want them to last and fuck the rest of the shit i dont need. my ds and 3ds can lie in sleep mode for months if not years and i can pop them open and they've still got two or three bars left. my old phones in high school could go days without a charge. if i leave my nintendo switch on the floor for a few days doing absolutely fuck all nothing i will turn it on and it will cry to me mother i am dying. i am dying mother. and i tell him he'll never be half the man his brother was and he can't hear me because he's dead

I'd been sitting on the idea and visual for this scene for so long and I think it ended up being one of the most difficult to draw and write but I'm so pleased with it. Huge thanks to @satanicspinosaurus for helping to get Astarion's end rant suitably ranty.

This scene is a callback/progression to the end of Stealing Hearts, Astarion's just not been reacting well to overhearing Aldiirn's nighttime tooting. Maybe we'll find out why. 👀

I spent so long on this and I mildly hate how Hope’s tunic came out and I gave up a bit at the end rip

Okay but can you imagine Raphael arranging the furniture into the House of Hope. He’s got like two malnourished debtors desperately struggling with the weight of a solid mahogany chaise longue and he’s giving orders like a fussy movie director.

“Against that back wall there. Bit to the left? No, actually try the right- not that far right! And do not damage the hardwood flooring. Hmm, actually upon further consideration, perhaps it’s better against the opposite wall. Chop chop!”

Could he just move the furniture himself? Almost certainly. But that’s not nearly as much fun as bossing people around.
