“A sweet anecdote from the big day involves Prince William assisting his bride with her wedding hair – helping to move a 500-year-old mirror so that she could admire her blow dry.

Hair stylist James Pryce explained to People that he gave her a blow dry in between the wedding ceremony and the Clarence House reception, but needed a bit of help from William.

He said: “I wanted to show Kate the back of her hair, and I was struggling to walk with this 500-year-old mirror.

“[William] just said, ‘Let me give you a hand’ and I said ‘No, no, honestly,’ but he took one end and I’ve got the other and we’re shuffling along with this mirror — he’s great, he really is.”

HAPPY 13TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TO THE PRINCE AND PRINCESS OF WALES ♡

HRH Prince William Arthur Philip Louis and Miss. Catherine Elizabeth Middleton married in a religious ceremony on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey after dating for several years.

The future Queen wore a dress by Surah Burton of Alexander McQueen with handmade lace applique incorporating the rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock by The Royal School of Needlework. She was lent the Cartier Scroll Tiara by Queen Elizabeth and gifted a pair of diamond earrings featuring acorns from Robinson Pelham by her parents for the special day. The bridal bouquet featured myrtle, lily-of-the-valley, sweet william, ivy, and hyacinth.

William doned on his red tunic of the Colonel of the Irish Guards uniform with a forage cap bearing their insignia and motto, "Quis Separabit?. He also wore his Order of the Garter Star and Blue Riband to which his RAF Wings & Golden Jubilee Medal were fastened.

Upon their wedding they became, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Earl & Countess of Strathearn and Baron and Lady Carrickfergus.

In true fairytale fashion, Mr and Mrs Wales travelled in a horse-drawn carriage procession to Buckingham Palace where they appeared on the Palace Balcony sharing two kisses to to the delight of the crowd gathered below and my princess obsessed self's.

Will & Cat have three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The family of five divide time between their official residence at Kensington Palace in London and their two private residences - Amner Hall in Norfolk & Adelaide Cottage in Windsor. Later in the evening, they were the guests of honour at two receptions.

Following King Charles's accession, they became The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay and were made The Prince and Princess of Wales by the new king on 9 September 2022.

As well as undertaking royal duties in support of The King, both in the UK and overseas, The Prince and Princess devote their time to supporting a various charitable causes and organisations with their key areas of interest being Early Childhood Development, Mental Health, Conservation, Arts, Sports etc.
