Im pissed as hell jfc

So, okay. Its been a busy morning for me, as i've been up since 4:50am as i need to work. I work helping my Papa as an engineer, so i often will fix a few things around the unit that he works in. So moving on, around 7:30 (as i get up early as hell) my Papa takes me to McDonalds because j dont have time to have food in a morning. Woo, breakfast. So, we're sitting down, its pretty empty as its only 7:30, and there's this guy, no older than 40, i'd think, who's sitting reading a newspaper with a coffee. He's obviously on his phone to someone as he's speaking through his earphones. So, i'm explaining the concept of Rainbow Six: Siege, to my Papa. Now myself, being deaf in one ear (left) and partially deaf in the other (right) can sometimes speak louder than i realise, as obviously, you feel like if you cant hear yourself, nobody else can. So this guy, the first about 10 minutes we're talking, says nothing. Carries on with what he's doing before he, quite rudely, states (and i quote) to the person he's speaking with: 'No, im not that loud. Some bratty girl is speaking as though she's giving a speech... I know, she needs to shut herself up.' Now, as stated, i am closer to being deaf than i am to not, but that is the one thing i pick up out of everything else. I'm insecure about my level of hearing for exactly that reason, and that small comment has made my day go from good, to terrible. So, i guess i just wanted to point out that not everybody has perfect hearing, or perfect eye sight and such, and you should not single them out like that. Fair enough, as them to maybe lower their voice, but very many people are insecure about what they dont have. So think before you speak. Good day 👋🏼

Yeah I hate TV Negan. Get over it.

I’ve been thinking about how a lot of the Negan bloggers on here (esp members of a certain group) have come to the conclusion that I’m just some ‘salty bitch’ that must be avoided at all costs, or laughed at because I’m soooo angry. And honestly, yeah I am angry about what has been done to TV Negan but I think my anger is justified.

The thing is… with TV-only Negan fans… you didn’t have to work to love him. You ‘loved’ Negan at first sight…because Oh, hot JDM! Wow, this guy is so hot! So much information about Negan was available to you at your fingertips: what would happen to him, how his character evolved, what Lucille means to him, everything.

Comic Negan fans had to wait for this information, watch it unfold over the span of years. We slowly grew to know Negan and love him. It wasn’t a lustful instant flame in the heart, but a slow burn.

You didn’t wait for three years with bated breath for when Negan would be on TV, jumping at every little sign he might appear, spending hours speculating who would play him, both dreading and anticipating it because this is your favorite character ever and you were so scared they’d mess him up.

You didn’t cheer when you saw JDM cast because you thought he was perfect, because his enthusiasm for Negan was great, because Kirkman and Gimple assured Negan would be as close to the comics as possible…

And then you didn’t suffer a blow of disappointment when TV Negan finally jumped from the RV and he had a beard…and he was… skinny? And he was so quiet and stifled and just not like Negan at all… But you waffled up and down with emotion and vowed to at least give him a chance.

And then you didn’t feel the anger and hurt and disappointment and helplessness with each passing episode as they wrote Negan further and further away from the character you absolutely adored. And yet seeing everyone praise him and love him right from the get-go because… he’s hot. Praising him for every trait that is not a -true Negan- trait. But you don’t understand the frustration of that, because how could you?

Ie: I once had a GOT fan message me how they could no longer watch the show because it was so far from the books. And I love the GOT show, but never read the books. So while I could understand their anger - I couldn’t really understand it…because all I knew was the show and how much I liked it.

So I see people laughing at me behind my back and calling me names and giggling because I’m so salty, and what’s they’re to be salty about… because TV Negan is just so fine and awesome! But not realizing how hurtful it was to me (and others) to see our favorite turned into a mutated abomination of his original self.

You laugh because no one reads my stories and yet I’ve been working on my fic for more than a year before TV Negan ever showed up, never got many views because back then… there weren’t a lot of Negan fans…and now there are, but they’re fans of TV Negan - who is not the same Negan. Yeah, it does hurt to be overlooked, it hurts so much but you don’t understand how that feels because people loved your stories from the get-go. You take it for granted that your work is accepted and read. But I just get laughed at whenever I express frustration. Because I deserve it because I’m such an arrogant bitch who dares to hate TV Negan.

But honestly, I don’t care. I like the original Negan, you like this other version.l And that’s fine -and I’ve always said it’s fine- and now I realize I don’t care if you don’t like me. I don’t care if you think I’m a bitch full of sodium. I have a reason to be. And I have people who agree with me and follow me and love Comic Negan and so why do I need anyone else’s approval. I don’t. I’ll always be here for comic Negan and trying to give him a space amongst all the TV Negan stuff and I always encourage people to get to know him, and my ask box is always open for questions regarding him.

So, that’s my say. If you want to talk shit about me, that’s cool. Go for it. But as long as I’m a fan of Comic Negan, I’m not going anywhere.
