brief context for the 1st one if you havent played inscryption:

its a card game where every time you die, you make your own card with your name and 'face'. (they can be found and played as regular cards throughout the game, your opponent uses them against you in one specific round). ctommy is basically getting his previously unknown torturous timeloop (and deaths) thrown back in his face .. whoops !
