In all honesty, that does make sense. Perhaps I just took him knowing the world is a game a little too literal?

During a game, what would be the most annoying thing a person could do? Like if they cheat or something.

Looking back at both Deltarune and things Jevil has said here I feel like he would of said to Diamond something about how if you DO come back for more youre fake. Because enemies dont die in Deltarune. Its impossible to massacre everyone. Which would also mean his games are ACTUALLY harmless. And that hes 100% correct.

(( while the party can’t kill enemies, lancer’s lines about turning you all into blood and the king’s likes about dropping lancer off the castle and watching him splatter imply that darkners can die(( jevil’s line, “THIS BODY CANNOT BE KILLED!” implies that that’s somehow different from other darkners

(( ralsei and susie can both go into negative hp without dying, and you can only get enemies down to 0 hp

(( the only thing that can die is kris/the player, and they’re the only one that can persist after death(( the way i see it, jevil doesn’t think that killing darkners is a problem because they’re just characters in a work of fiction written to act like they have feelings, and killing things that are controlled by real people isn’t a problem because they can just come back

(( but hey, it’s 1000% ok to have different thoughts on this sort of stuff!! it’s interesting seeing other people’s perspectives  ( ´ ∀ ` )b   ty anon!
