Im sorry for the people who thought taking on endless debt to learn information that exists online for free was a good idea, and even more sorry for the people who knew better but are still getting taxed after all the student debt is absorbed into the national debt Income per working age capita in the us is only 30k thats attainable without a bachelors, engineering jobs are declining, healthcare degrees are surging meaning healthcare wages can only go down, most everything else is being automated, id say college is mainly for socializing now but for the cost most would be better off VIP'ing at a bar Most engineers are programmers now and most machines are the programs themselves which have already been created and require very little maintenance after all the glitches are fixed, software development jobs are declining 1-2 percent per year while at the same time competing with self taught freelancers, engineers are being replaced with technicians who just run simulations previously built by the engineers, mechanics only earn around 30-40k, government jobs are the best bet outside of healthcare Most of the old knowledge is what college professors are peddling and theyre among the highest paid, the education industry will tell you anything to stay relevant but its going to burst soon like every other economic bubble in history 5/12/17
