SEMINAR: THE ART OF A HOUSE SUBMISSIVE: HOW TO PROVIDE FOR YOUR DOMINANT WHO IS WORKING FULL-TIME TO PROVIDE FOR YOU HOSTED BY: VALENTINA MOTTA SUGAR MOTTA TIME FRAME: THURSDAY 8TH JULY, AFTERNOON CLASSES
Clearly nervous as she stood in front of the attendance of the seminar, Sugar did her best to follow the rules and read from the PowerPoint Val provided for her. In the class, Val’s notes discussed how she was never one for hard work, with the exception of her father’s deli in New Jersey. She was granted something special when attending Devereux and meeting Al, and his hard work ethic was something that attracted her immensely.
Once claimed and wed, and soon becoming a family with three gorgeous children, Val would think of ways to try and show Al her appreciation for all he did for her and their family, and providing the means for the beautiful life they created together. From planning vacations to arranging fancy meals out, Val’s class gave tips on everything, even a couple of sexual favours that made Sugar blush and stammer.
Though not as engaging as the class would be with Val hosting it, Sugar fumbled her way through and let out a sigh of relief once it was over, thanking the class, and hurrying out before a Q and A could commence.

SYLVESTER MIXER FOR REAGAN AND ROOSEVELT HOSTED BY: MADONNA SYLVESTER TIME FRAME: WEDNESDAY 7TH JULY, 7PM - 11PM
Despite the party not starting until 7pm, Madonna showed up at Reagan’s room at 3pm with cleaning supplies and orders for the girl to get her suite in perfect condition. She had a small collection of alcohol, but nothing to get anyone drunk and annoying, as well as picky bits/general party food such as chips and dips and a made to order cheeseboard, as Madonna Sylvester cooks for no one.
She’d spend the evening interrogating her younger sisters’ friends, including Reagan’s airhead living Barbie doll roommate, and the Yeehaw Hick girlfriend. She wanted everyone to feel vaguely uncomfortable, especially Reagan and Roosevelt.
It was a lesson to be learned in how to keep good company, and unfortunately both younger Sylvesters needed further tutoring on that specific one.

THE MOTTA MIXER HOSTED BY: VALENTINA MOTTA SUGAR MOTTA TIME FRAME: TUESDAY 6TH JULY, 7PM - 10PM
Though the decoration didn’t make it too obvious the event was made for single Motta Basil in mind, him being the only Dominant and single male (as Sage was there in solidarity), in attendance among submissive and Switch females made it hard to deny the point of the mixer.
Sugar tried her best after her introductory speech to the guests in attendance, to make things run smoothly as to not upset any members of the Motta party. Luckily for Basil, it didn’t seem many of the girls in attendance seemed that concerned about throwing themselves at him, more preoccupied with gossiping among themselves and their friends, or having a little dance to the pop music playlist Sugar put on through her account when she realised she forgot to hire a DJ.
She wouldn’t exactly call it a Val Motta success, but she knew her mom would be happy Basil attended, as well as some actual guests too. And Sugar was happy that her brother seemed fine, and that he was mostly left to his own devices in the corner of the room.

SEMINAR: THE IMPORTANCE OF MAKING A NAME AND BRAND FOR YOU AND YOUR CLAIM HOSTED BY: TENNYSON ALBRECHT TIME FRAME: TUESDAY 6TH JULY, AFTERNOON CLASSES
Oozing charm, Tennyson spoke to the attendees with practiced ease, as if it were a course he had presented a thousand times before. He introduced himself, his family name, and how such a name has helped him win with the opportunities he has been granted in life.
Giving tips on success, he cited Devereux as the perfect place to establish oneself, and that everyone here was one step forward to becoming Something Great. Once their last name was a star on the map, their future claims and families would reap the benefits from their hard work.
During the Q and A section, he ended it rather abruptly when someone asked about any differences within his relationship with Eden as he continued making a name for the Albrecht line, and the seminar finished rather soon after that.

parentsofdevereux:
Hello there Devereux I don’t think I’d be doing myself any favours if I didn’t introduce myself ahead of the summer romance mixer I’m hosting along with my beautiful wife Clarissa on Wednesday. I’m Henry Baxter, and yes you probably went to school with one of my brothers… it’s actually strange that there aren’t any Baxters currently at Devereux.. I think they thought we’d never leave.
How’s James?

VIP GALA HOSTED BY: TENNYSON ALBRECHT TIME FRAME: MONDAY 5TH JULY, 7PM - CURFEW
The Gala was a stuffy and formal affair, though the room was lovely decorated, thanks in part to Eden’s sense of decoration. The menu below was served, with a vegetarian option, with dietary adjustments made for those requiring them.
Starters
Courgette & fennel soup with coconut cream (V)
Seared scallops with peas, tomato & pancetta
Main Course
Snow white Glitne halibut with chargrilled courgette, garlic & tomato polenta, ratatouille dressing
Spiced carrot arancini with basil & sage pesto, baby carrots (V)
Desserts
Assiette of coffee with Brûlée, ice cream, syrup, sponge, granita
White chocolate & cherry parfait with Cherry sponge, white chocolate snow
During the meal, a string quartet hired for the evening played ambient music, joined by a local singer once the meal was over. Guests were encouraged to dance, and mingle with others. Among the student body that were invited, both Tennyson and Eden handpicked some important alumni to attend, a majority former members of the Order, and people who were interested in getting to know the students as prospective business partners upon graduation.
There was a tense moment with Tennyson and Eden who were seen bickering in the corner of the event, before she had to leave, retiring early, leaving a much more relaxed Tennyson to chat with his guests.
The party ended just in time for curfew, with hotel staff making sure the alumnus and faculty guests were taken to a private lounge for Tennyson’s afterparty, and the student guests were taken back to campus safely.

SEMINAR: HOW NOT TO BE A WEAKLING HOSTED BY: MADONNA SYLVESTER TIME FRAME: MONDAY 5TH JULY, AFTERNOON CLASSES
Arriving 15 minutes later, Madonna congratulates those who bothered to wait around. “Sometimes, people will make you wait to prove your strength. Welcome to How Not to Be a Weakling, little maggots. Prepare yourselves for one hell of an afternoon.”
She’d explain the origins of her mother’s infamous alumni seminar, and how this year Sue is unable to attend “as she’s too busy opening the catheter bag of veins she calls legs in an ill-advised attempt to recreate Rosemary’s Baby if Rosemary were the same age as a young grandmother” so she has offered to attend instead. She’d explain some would argue there is no such thing as weakness, merely different forms of strength. Those people are wrong.
She’d bring up various volunteers, and wouldn’t dismiss anyone until there’s been at least 3 people proving their weakness by running out in a fit of tears.
When asked if anyone had any questions, she’d then say that she could tell they were stupid ones and told them to put their hands down.
The people would leave, some shaken, some aroused, and some eerily inspired. The course, in the eyes of all things Sylvester, was a hit.

“So what is your deal?” Taylor found himself asking the petite brunette near him, killing time before his meeting with Avery. They weren’t his usual type, but a bit of light entertainment never hurt.

“Oh honey, don’t say that,” Eden soothed, reaching over to stroke the younger woman’s shoulder, “You have plenty of potential. Who’s got you saying that?”

“And why should I, huh? I’m tired of you living in your fantasy world, Reagan. Where all the dinsoaurs are alive and gay and the only currency that matters is how many boob jiggles you give to buy that god awful alcohol you buy. I don’t want any more of you insidious ideas making their way through my ears, they’ve gone through enough.”

He was waiting outside the Grand Hotel lobby, waiting to hear back from the entire reason he set back foot on this godforsaken island again. Taking a long drag of a cigarette, glancing at the phone, a picture of his claimed submissive waiting at home for him looking back at him, he quickly shut it. He wasn’t leaving here without Avery. That was for certain. Taylor was visibly disappointed when Percy rounded the corner, but smiled despite himself. “Got much planned for the rest of the night?” He asked, to be polite.

Double checking her outfit for the evening, Harriet smiled and made her way downstairs. The hotel looked beautiful for the event she had heard about through small talk at the luncheon, but she had different plans this evening, wanting to try her best to make Ezekiel’s time here easy, and productive. As she headed into the lobby, she noticed Thaddeus, giving him a polite wave. “Good evening, Sir,” She greeted him. “I hope you have a pleasant evening.”

The evening was, as nicely as Madonna could have put it, a bore. All the alumni here were older than her class, and she only heard of them through the grubby current students she had the displeasure of teaching a few months ago. The only entertainment value was Katseya, who was taking advantage of some sorry soul’s credit card to buy rounds at the hotel bar. “Tequila, whiskey chaser.” She ordered, flashing the brunette a wink. “Katseya dear, I’m bored. Whatever shall we do?”
