He stares in surprise at seeing the basket and note appear. His brow furrows as he reaches over and grabs the note, reading it first out of curiosity.

He's currently drinking the tea he was given earlier, although he paused when he heard the screen yell. He lowered the cup with a wince from how loud the voice was," yeah, I'm okay. At least... Now I am."

Light, who was now awake, was currently on his shoulder, snuggled against his neck and into the fluff of his hood. They let out a happy bell sound, Chrono chuckling as he patted them in response.

He then looked at the tea with a small frown after a few seconds,"... It's strange though.. if.. if what that anomaly said was true.. then... I'm.. " His shoulders raised as he grimaced, Him lowering the tea fully. "... It.. has me questioning alot. Am I even an Eddie? Or do I just look like one and have memories of being one..? Gosh it's messing with me just thinking about it.."

His grip on the cup the tea was in tightened, his brows furrowed,"... I don't even know what I am anymore..."

"oh uh.. thanks..", he takes the tea, but is looking at the other in confusion,"... Yeah, you could say that... Wait, we'ren't you the one who made that one offer for a place to stay??" His eyes widen in realization.

Light is now on his lap, still snoozing away.

He slowly wakes up to the sound of twinkling, he opening his eyes a little in confusion. He he could feel a small weight settled on his chest, him glancing at it.

The weight is revealed to be Light, them seemingly asleep. He slowly sits up, him holding the small anomaly in his hand to make sure they don't fall as he did.

"what... What happened..?", He asked aloud , his confusion in his voice.

After a second, his memories came flooding back and he looked around in alarm," where-"

The anomaly's gaze snapped in his direction, a snarl leaving them immediately. They seemed surprised someone had found this place. "Who the fuck are you??? How'd you- GAH it doesn't matter." He huffed in annoyance," Yes, you most definitely are interrupting something. Leave, this doesn't concern whoever the fuck you are."

The anomaly's tone caused Light to peak over Lovey's shoulder, them glaring at the anomaly. They were still quivering in fear though.

After a while, the two had found a door. Light was appearing from under it, indicating some kind of light source was on the other side.

Light squeaked(I think this is the way out! We should be able to find Clock once we leave!)

The small anomaly went up to the door and was now trying to open it.

The inside of the building seemed to appear like a shed. Shelves lined the walls, but there wasn't anything important on them. A big pole was in the center, and they could see the one who had been talking. They were the shapeshifter anomaly, their form flickering between different characters so face it was hard to pinpoint which one they were supposed to be. They appeared to be trying to wake up an unconscious Chrono who was tied to the pole with his hands behind his back.

Chrono looked incredibly injured, a dark black eye visible. He now has gashes in his felt, more dark bruises littered across it. His breathing was unstable. The glitches had gotten worse.

The anomaly snarled," We aren't done, anomaly slayer! I can't have you passing out on me when we haven't even got to the best part of your lesson!"

It seems the anomaly hasn't noticed Light and Lovey.

Light quivered , hiding behind Lovely. Static left them, but it was incredibly quiet and horrified.

After a while, the two had found a door. Light was appearing from under it, indicating some kind of light source was on the other side.

Light flies towards the shed, letting out a chirp of agreement with what Lovey said.

As the two got closer, they could hear a faint voice. Aggravation seeped from their tone, and muffled movement could be heard.

Light started buzzing nervously, worried glass noises leaving them. They floated up to the door, trying to see how to open it. It looked like there was a simple handle that could easily be pulled. There was a chain that looked like it was supposed to lock the door, but it was currently hanging next to it instead.

After a while, the two had found a door. Light was appearing from under it, indicating some kind of light source was on the other side.

Light flew a few circles around Lovey, chirping happily. (oh thank you!)

Light quickly then flies out once the door opens. The other side of the door revealed a forest, many trees filling the area. Flowers and grass littered the ground, and in the distance stood a small building , its red door closed.

Light glowed brighter, (There's a building! Maybe it has a clue!)

After a while, the two had found a door. Light was appearing from under it, indicating some kind of light source was on the other side.

The small anomaly immediately zipped out, their glow brighter. They bobbed up and down happily,( Oh thank you, thank you! That cage was awful...) They looked around,( You are right... But where can we find him? I do not even know where the door is in this place... Unless... Follow me!) The little ball zipped towards the right , heading into the darkness of the room.

I.. I would like some help..very much. Clock might be hurt and I need to go find him! I'm... Trapped..) Light lowers a bit.

(Clock is... Somewhere.. I do not know... I did not see where the shapeshifter took him... But I heard Clock's screams...), Light's glow dimmed abit, their body shaking. They let out a jingling sound, and it almost sounded like a whimper.

They looked to Lovey,(The cage has some kind of power keeping it locked.. The shapeshifter did not want me to intervene and interfere.. I worry for Clock..)

Light?? Is that you? Can you hear us, lil guy?

Light's body lifted up slightly, them looking in surprise at the screen that had appeared outside their cage. A worried chirp left them, and they floated closer to the bars.

A bit of static occured around the screen and them, and a bell like voice spoke,(Is he ok? Where is he? He got taken, please tell me he's ok!) Their words were shaky and spoken quickly, and they seemed to be straining to talk in this way. It seems they are trying to communicate.

Their tears still fell, the tears looking like liquid crystals. They seem worried for their new friend.

-insert like 4 anvils getting dropped on the anomaly-

The anomaly yelps and dodges the anvils, a sharp hiss leaving it. It's form is switching between characters much faster now, and it's agitated. It screeches," WHAT IN THE STARS?! I- WHERE THE FUCK DID THOSE COME FROM?!"

A chuckle leaves the injured multiverse traveler, Chrono's head lifting up. He has a black eyes and a bit of the red substance is dripping from his mouth. He grins," they... Aren't just voices..." Pardner"... They.. can do stuff..." He flinched as the anomaly punched the pole right over his head, him ducking his head down with a scared noise.

"you think you're SSSSOOOO clever, don't you? Having this little contraption. Having these people talk with you..", It snarled at him. Then a cruel grin formed on it's face," Well then... Looks like I'm going to have to make sure they don't interfere..."

The anomaly glared at the device," I worked very hard to get to this moment and I will NOT have any of you ruin it for me!" It snapped it's fingers and the scene went dark.

A new scene fades in, and it appears to be a dark room. The only visible thing is a large birdcage hanging from the ceiling.. inside is a small glitching and glowing ball bouncing against the bars, it making distressed jingling noises. After a bit it lowered to the bottom of the cage, and soft twinkling sounds left it. It looks to be crying.
