Now this is actually hilarious. It's so obvious she uses him and his fans and he is just blinded by "love".  Now their engaged.... that will dissolve quickly. I want these people to be happy, not used for promo.  That's what a record label is for, but Jessie wouldn't know that because she's using the band-slut way out.   I would rant and rave about how he's used her, but I've posted enough about that.

"Not a real fan", you say? I would not have spent a good chunk of money travelling just to see them play.  There are two things I care about: The music and the people in the band.  That's it.  Not some tart who looks like she just got pulled out of 2007 Myspace.

Fuck this fan "family" shit.  It doesn't work in any other fandom and it shouldn't.  I shouldn't be forced to like some 15 year old mallg0ths who worship the ground Lzzy walks on.  Grow up.

OK folks.  I keep seeing a lot of hate swirling around the Stormer community, and frankly, it needs to stop.

Nobody is saying you have to like Jessie Covets.  Nobody.  Nobody is saying you have to be her friend or her fan.

But there is literally no excuse for being such poisonous little brats over her.

The fact is, she and Arejay are dating.  And they make each other happy.  She makes Arejay happy.  Shouldn’t that be the important thing?  Shouldn’t his happiness matter to you, if you’re his fan?  Put your jealously aside.  Consider the fact that everyone in the band is a real person, just like you.  They have the right to have relationships, whether or not you approve.

There’s no excuse for spreading lies about Jessie.  None.  All it’s doing is making YOU look bad, not her.

And for the record, Jessie is an amazingly sweet woman.  She also has a voice to die for.  Yes, Arejay has promoted her band Violet.  So what?  He’s proud of her.  He wants to show her off to the world.  That’s what you do when you’re in love.  She is not using him.  She has not asked for his help promoting her band, but even if she had, that is perfectly OK too. 

You want to be jealous and bitter that he’s dating her instead of you, fine.  Can’t stop you.

But don’t you DARE spread around vicious rumors and lies about someone you don’t even know.

Real fans don’t do that.  They just don’t.  They don’t go out of their way to hurt someone they are a fan of.  And yes, every single time you promote the hate, you’re hurting Arejay.  Why would you want to do that?

It’s time to stop.  Being a Stormer is being a part of a family.  And family doesn’t do that.

The Halestorm fans I have had the displeasure of knowing have all been under the age of 16 and have a serious case of Special Snowflake Syndrome, jesus christ.

Let's talk about Jessie Covets.

And how she is obviously using Arejay. 

First of all, the first time we've ever heard of her was Arejay promoting her band. 

Great, it's cute. Whatever.

Let's seem how many times she's tweeted the slightest mention of him since then.

Or how she will tweet and retweet him plugging in her (failed) bands.

Or when she has her live shows, the only people that tweet anything remotely about them are Halestorm fans.

Funny how Arejay and Mama Hale are the ones that made it so special, eh?

Oh, And Lzzy (who never tweets anything promotion-related....) this one time. 

(Why does it matter is Arejay is going to be there, anyway?)

Now as a fan of the band, I respect their personal life.  I don't give a shit what time they went to bed last night or what color underwear they're wearing today. Shockingly enough, Ms. Covets doesn't have that same respect for someone she is... dating.

I'm sure he's thrilled about this one.

But please, tell me... what band girlfriend does obsessive shit like this? She's stuck to him like clingwrap. The majority of band girlfriends try to maintain their privacy (as well as their boyfriend's) to prevent crazy ass fangirls from prying into every detail of their personal business.  But she embraces it. And encourages it.  You can call me creepy and obsessive but in reality, who is the obsessive one?  I wouldnt have been able to collect all of this if it wasn't for her constant uploading. 

So the point of this post?

Jessie Covets is basically an obsessive, low-self esteem fangirl who has to constantly remind herself (and others) who she's blowing every night and essentially using his band's likeness to promote her little girl-group. 

And if you're not convinced yet. The most obvious of them all...

I'm sure Arejay is too blinded by "love" to realize this. But God do I feel bad for him if he doesn't.
