This is the Arcana Mortis Tarot, a fully illustrated 78-card tarot deck based on the idea of memento mori. It’s symbolisms are fairly similar to the RWS but altered with my own style to bring this philosophical idea into the deck. Memento Mori is a powerful phrase. It literally translates into “Remember, you must die”, and as morbid as that sounds it is a powerful philosophy that everyone should try to live by. This deck marries the concepts of life and death and urges the user to contemplate their questions and thoughts in the context of these larger ideas.

The project has been fully funded so it’s definitely happening! Go get one for yourself or a friend… or both :P

he Devil Tarot card represents being seduced by material things as well as physical pleasures. A better way to imagine it is that the devil is obsessed with attachment, living in fear, domination, as well as being caged by an overabundance of luxury. However, the Devil can be a great card as it can represent spiritual growth through discomfort.
